hey new to the forum and detailing. I live in Noblesville, IN outside of Indianapolis. Total new guy to detailing and hope to get started by spring. I want to learn all the basics then move onto more in depth paint repair. i hope to start up a lil job on the weekends to earn extra cash for my car love, my 94 honda del sol. It is getting a make over with new paint so i need to know how to take care of it. hope to be around.
 
Welcome. I'm a fellow Hoosier also. I live in Charlestown, IN. That's south of you, just across the river from Louisville. Can't wait to get rid of this snow and ice so I can detail my black Nissan 350z.

are you near new albany? i have family in that area. yeh the 10" of snow last week and 4" yesterday doesnt help the mood. I think i will start with basics like car washing then moving onto polishing etc.

so any tips to get started then progressing will be great. i plan to purchase some kind of PC package from AG soon to get started. I've only used off the shelf autozone megiurs on the car so i'm lost in all the brands, terms, etc i'm reading over.

is that kind of a greyish olive green? cant really tell from the computer screen
 
yeh it's a silvery green. a lot of metallic flake with a hint of green hue.
