I have used California Water Blade as well as an electric leaf blower to dry. The speed is great but is there any downside anyone has experienced? Thanks!

Using the water blade can cause scratches

Definitely can scratch if not used properly. I clean it off after each swipe no no grit gets between it and the paint. The leaf blower is fantastic as it never touches car. Try it!

I use a leaf blower and a waffle weave towel to finish it off..........

The only time I QD is in the summer time here in Floirda, I have use #34, Z6, Spray & Gloss, and a few others out there..............

What's wrong with QDing in the winter after a wash if I may ask? Is it too humid?

The weather is great here, so i don't have any problems of water spot's on the finish from drying, now when good old summer is here, it's too humid for me.

Ahhhh, how does the qd react when it's humid? Does it streak?

Everything drys too quick for me, That's when I need some help from a QD.

haha, yeah that sounds enough. i stole my families gas leaf blower and just use it on low speed, i do notice a huge difference between a car that has a fresh layer of wax vs a car that needs a wax. kinda cool to watch the water fly vs not fly off the car.

why isnt a gas blower good? or is it not a problem?

The exhaust gets on the vehicle so that does not help. Use an electric one, no exhaust to get on the finish when drying and will not cause any marring when wiping of the excess water.

Plus it's alot easier just plugging it in.Then haveing to drag out gas,the exhaust getting into the house Etc
