Well, I just spent 16 hours on my wife's car in 2 days. I believe it was time well spent, you be the judge.

The car is a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP in slate grey metallic. I am very pleased with how it turned out. And the metal flake really pops now. I didn't seal this one because the garage was not clear and with the rain forecast for the night, 12 hours of no wet was not possible to still allow me time to apply the Fuzion.

Wash:
Megs Gold class
MF mitt

Clay:
Megs Smooth car kit
Megs QD as lube

2nd wash:
Megs Gold Class
MF mitt

Dried with MFs.

Correction (PC 7424):
CCS LC 5.5in Orange with SIP
CCS LC 5.5in White with 106FA

That was day 1.

It rained overnight, so I woke up in the morning for wash #3. Which was same as wash 1 and 2. lol.

Polish:
CCS LC 5.5in White with WG PPE

LSP:
Fuzion

Now for the pictures:

Nice job, looks great, but those tires look like they need a wipe down to even it out.

What machine did you use with the SIP and the Nano .Rotary or PC

Nice work Calhoun, I'm sure the misses appreciates how slick her car is thanks to your efforts.

PC forgot to add that. Thanks.
Very nice i use the same combo on my vette but had to use a rotary to even get it close to enjoy how it looks and still have to spend some more time on it .

And I went and did the wipe down before going to pick her up from work. Thanks for the advice

Ouch. Well I am glad to not have extremely hard cc's on my cars.

Looks great. IMO you should've used a finishing pad after the white LC pad. The white LC will leave behind some marring. It probally would've shine even more with some 85RD and a gray or blue pad. If you didn't have the 85RD, maybe the 106 and a blue pad.

Don't get me wrong, it looks great. Just that extra step is sometimes needed when using the orange pad.

Thanks for the advice. I need to get some 85 or 87. Just have to get my wife to let me make another order. But that will definitely be on my next order.

looks great, you in MD or SC.
In SC. In the Navy, so cars are still registered in MD.

Nice reflections, car looks great man. Nice work

Very nicely done and great reflections. Your wife must be quite happy with the results, and remember what they say, "happy wife means happy life".:D

Very nice job, that paint really came alive for you. And I am sure she was very happy!
