So the story was, I was bored and decided to look up pictures of the Maybach Exelero and stumbled upon this!!!

MaybachExelero.jpg

Now i know its loaded with bugs but theres also a ton of swirls. My thought is, how can you keep such an expensive car in that sort of shape.

You would be surprised most people think swirls on cars is normal, I don't know these people but I hear they exist!:D

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! you know, i guess some people really do think that swirls and bugs are the new automotive style. Now i can say my car is cleaner than a Maybach Exelero!!!

Especially on dark painted cars....Before i learned anything about detailing i was trying to remove the swirls from my black car and all the ''professionals'' said to me...''YOU CANNOT.THE CAR IS BLACK.IT IS NORMAL WITH BLACK CARS'' :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!

Pampos i was in that EXACT position myself!!!! If the car was sitting just right in the sun, it was covered in awful looking swirls, and god only knows what else. I asked around to people who i thought were "detailers" and they gave me the same response....the number one response being, "Ohh you are just seeing things, its just the car shinning"

haha that reminds me of something you said a little while ago that made me laugh really hard. this is the thread with the ford explorer that had the "worst rotary work ever".
Buyer: "Well we really like the SUV, we just are worried about the paint. Is everything ok with it? Its looks like marks all in the paint.

Detailer: Ohh Ma'am thats just intense shine. Most people don't know this, but a rotary is the only way to shine a car, and in this case, it turned out like a million bucks. By far ma'am, this is one of my best details to date. People ask me about my car and they say, " Where did you get that shine? I tell em, thats all me baby...all me."

Back in the 60s and 70s it was common to see swirls on a polished car. That was before PCs, and foam pads, and fine polishes. If you went to the Chicago Auto Show in the 60s and 70s you would see a lot of swirly cars because most of the cars were buffed.

At least we all know we are normal and swirl free!:p

hahahhaha ohhh yes the swirly black explorer!!!!! I have that picture saved on here and i still cant see how they pulled it off hahah

Swirls No! The car is traveling so fast that the paint is blurred. Look at the lane stripes.

If you believe the above statement you need to have your EYES examined. :D

Are there people that they believe them????????????

Hahahhaha i remember typing that and getting a kicked out of it hahaha. Some people out there just see a clean car in a whole different manner.

Ive actually witnessed someone spraying tire shine all over the vehicle to "shine er up". hahahhah

probably washed it at the car wash using the brush(right after someone used it on a muddy 4X4)--see people using it all the time with new and expensive cars
