Yes for sure and alot easier to use .Cost not bad $35.00 only thing is that you use a little more then nano goes on wet comes off wet . Drive to my body shop supply on 441 in hollywood they have it in stock .

Hey asphalt thats not nice lol. Were suppose to share secrets here! :righton: but yeah im stressing over my m3 because It isn't coming out the way I want it to. Harley you told me go straight from 105/pfw/ to sip/white to nano/ blue?

Some, but not all of them.

Im only messing with you lol. Do you mind teaching me the trick of jeweling? Adam told me to try out m105 pwf then jump to SIP on white and nano on blue. Wouldnt po85rd give more of a "shine and wet look" then nano? I was thinking of using SIP on orange pad then nano on white and po85rd on blue?

getting ready to do my truck and its pretty bad, bad swirls, just not good, but im excited. read through this whole thread a couple times and have some questions.

I have sip and nano and a pc with orange, white, black, and blue pads. i know im going to have to start with the sip and orange right off the bat. i was wondering and cant really figure it out by reading through this thread...does the m105 have more cut to it than the sip? in case i do need something a little more than sip, im just trying to gather some information before i start.

also why dont i see a lot of people using the yellow pad? also can the m105 be used with a pc?

thanks guys. jamores, sorry to steal the thread.

red boost, M105 has alot more cut than SIP. SIP didnt do anything to my car alone but it does well following up the m105 which leaves holograms behind so dont get scared when you see them :) I noticed a big difference after m105 and sip, then I followed it with nano and nano removed all the fine scratches. Good luck.

thank you jamores. were you using a pc?

i think sip and orange might do the job in a couple passes, but if not i will have to decide if to get m105 or use sip with a wool pad.

I think you all ready answered your own question .No need for the orange pad you used the pwf,The nano took care of your small scratches,So use the 85rd on blue pad to jewel .

do you recommend m105 be used with a wool pad?

is m105 recommended over menz powergloss?

M105 is stronger than SIP. Its up to you on which compund you want to use, the M105 does have less dusting but it is harder to use for first time users.

You're not kidding it's hard for the first timer!! I'll get it yet though. :D Do you completely load up the pad with product at the onset or do you put a little bit on pad and use product line on panel and pick up as you start? Or a better way to put it 'How do you start off using 105 on a pfw?' Any other 105 tips would be helpful!!

thanks

thanks Dana. I will just have to get out there and see what the sip and orange can do.

No I got a pc. Is the m105 almost impossible to use without a rotary?

I just found an old thread about using a purple wool pad with sip and a pc...this may be what i have to do with this truck.

I can tell you this the hard core detailers have no use for a Pc they are all rotary guys, and what i have learned so far and using all the products i have now .Better off learning using a rotary and to be honest it's really not as hard as people say it is .The only thing i screwed up on was buying the Pc before i knew what i had too do for paint correction,I all ready owned the Makita so i felt stupid when i attacked my vette with the pc and had to learn my rotary . Practice is needed for sure . But if you keep the rotary moving and watch out for the edges of the pad or wool hiting something go for it i say.

yeah...its definately running through my head right now about picking up a rotary before tackling this one and I am also trying to study for a immunology test that is tomorrow, haha. rotary rotary rotary, b-cell antibody attacks the antigen.

On that first project of mine, the paint wasn't that bad, I think I kind of picked an easy first job to tackle using the pc with sip and nano on the Civic.

I kinda ask that same question about using the Pc for easier paint correction only answer i got was use the Pc for wax or sealant applying or carpet cleaning .So that's were i'm at maybe i will take the Pc to work and use it too polish my guys tools boxes
