Did this white turbo the other day, we had it for about a week while we wet sanded the exterior, installed a clear bra on the bumper only, removed the rear quarter panel chip guard film and replaced it with some new optically clear film and also changed out the wheels.

Don't have too many BEFORE pics so I'm only going to post the really poor after pics...it was over cast so I was bummed about that.

Adios,

Very nice Anthony. About the clear bra, is that a film that can be removed, or is it sprayed on?

Looks great. Was the entire car wet sanded?

What process did you use on the clear bra?

I am going to get it applied to the front of my Cobra and also behind the rear wheels. And I don't want to damage it when I work on my cars finish.

Hello,

The clear bra is a 3M PPF. Spray on bras work but from what I have been told they can be very tricky in their application and getting them to look even.

Thanks Craig

Yep....the whole exterior except the wing was wet sanded. The reason I don't like to wet sand the wings is because they have (not all, but most) a horrible finish. I think they must be done or finished at another plant or place because many times I have seen them with horrible sanding marks in them. So if needed I'll wet sand them but if I can get by with just giving them a thorough polish then that's it.

Thanks Sal

After the install of the bra give it a few days to dry up thoroughly before washing it. You can then wax it ( we use Optimum spray wax) and if needed it can also be polished. For that we use FPII or UF on the Flex with either a LC white pad or finishing pad. Then wax it.

You can use a paste wax but be mindful of the edges of the clear bra. Even when polishing be watchful of the edges, tape them off if needed.

Hope that helps,

Thanks again all

Anthony
