This car came to me in pretty good shape already, but the customer wanted it perfect! I switched up my normal routine of SIP/White, which Ive always had great success with on this particular type of car and I went with M105/Yellow Megs Polishing Pad using the KB method. This process was much quicker and easier on my body since you can keep the rpms real low and just work the product in. After this process, the car was LSP ready but I wanted to take it a step further and jeweled the car with 3M UF/UK Finishing Pad. The car was then sealed with Opti-Seal and had two coats of P21S 100% Paste Wax. This left the car dripping wet!

The car was dropped off at my house a couple days early, so it got a nice helping of bird poo from sitting outside during the day. The owner actually keeps this car very clean!

Looks kinda like my old car!

Great work as usual

Was wondering the uk 3m pad for finishing what color pad was that

that is one cool color on those newer civics.

i was wondering, how would you compare 3m ultrafina to menz 85rd to menz 87mc? anyone have any input?

I personally think Ultrafina is way better than 85rd, but I have not used FPII which I think would compare better to ultrafina. However, I have experienced some extreme filling with Ultrafina and I know it has some fillers in it but I only go to UF after my swirl-removal is completed.

i see. im having a hard time trying to decide which one to get for a final polish/jeweling after using nano. thank you

Should try the ultrafina i had the same decision after using SIP/Nano was very impressed wth how easy it was to workwith the UF

thank you harleyguy, and of course use a blue or red pad with the uf as well

Hey and friend and I were talking about the UK imported finishing pad? Could you point me in the direction of where i can find one. Now you were saying you prefered the UF over the 85rd, but with someone with a hard CC, would you prefer then the 85rd? I was just thinkin about it my for vehicle. I usually get light swirling from washing and i really prefer not to go thru and entire full detail. I just need a quick polish that removes fine swirls

On the other hand....hahah those before pictures made me laugh because you happened to get Bird Poo in each one lol. However that blue metallica and CF really pops once you finished the car. As always...amazing!

Neither one really have any cutting ability. I use UF on hard clears as well. I ordered mine from an online store in Europe, I cant remember who though, took a few weeks to get them here in FL.

Great work! Keep it up.

I agree with you, I like uf better as well.

IME pretty much every polish has the ability to decieve, it really boils down to how they are used in most cases.

I like UF better than RD because RD will grab on certain paints and even howl occassionally. UF is always super slick, it also indicates when it's finished more obviously.
