Are they legal? I think those young ladies are legal, daughters if I recall. Hey img, how ya like that picture of me, that's right, Craig, getting the Flex I won.:righton: Thats right, the Flex came home with me. I'll be sure and claim it on my taxes next year. If not I'll send to to some poor AIG employee.:D

I had a great time as a vendor. I'll definitely be back again next year. Thanks for putting on a great show. The only thing I wished I could have done was finish that Element that was my demo car! I left to work on the Ferrari for 15 minutes, and came back, sat down at my booth..and wondered why it felt like something was missing...then it hit me the car was gone! Someone's going to have to finish the BW test spots!! lol.:D

Also was an absolute pleasure meeting and hanging out with Dwayne and Bob. Certainly the highlight for me.

Richard

Richard, we will finish the Element, it was an employees no worries!

Craig--congrats, but will it blow bubbles like the tornator (see tronador post)?

Yeah sure you won the flex and i got stuck with the tee shirt .Thanks bro LOL:cheers:

img, I put the Flex in a bucket of soapy water, hit the switch, speed 6.
It didn't blow bubbles, but I did.:buffing::eek:
Of all the demos to miss, I didn't catch the one on the Flex.
I have to give Matt a call.
I did get to see the one Penny did. It was called knock the display over on herself and I. demo.:D It happened at the order station, couple lap tops to place a order. Big display behind it, it was down for a couple minutes.:D You just can't take the kids anywhere.

Oh good, that makes me feel better.

Can I post the pix that I took from the event somewhere around here? I took pix of the Ferrari that needed the Black Wow mostly..before and afters.

Hmmm...Meghan and I still have an open relationship, maybe she'll be nice and pass my number to them :D

Open relationship my a$$. Megan and your number, you can bet she has your number all right. Just not the way you think. I think you're full of something and it's not polish or wax.:D
Wait till wystang sees this, he'll be on you like stick on.....
I can't wait.

I think next year they should have detail fest a little earlier. maybe 2-3 weeks earlier so we dont catch rain.

Overall I loved it and the free samples/goodie bags made the long trip worth it.

It was horrible driving the viper in the rain on the way home.

Saturdays weather was a bit weary, but we should be lucky it wasnt pouring all day long. I drove through quite a bit of hard(hazards on doing 10mph on the highway) rains on my way in from Tampa. I thought for sure it would be the same at AG, but it was only partly cloudy for half the day and then it finally rained later in the day.

Sunday on the other hand was very nice out! It was very sunny, although a bit windy and chilly! Better than hot and humid sitting next to 30 other guys in a small class room! haha! Mike taught on AWESOME class and I was lucky enough to hang out with him at the hotel and for dinner and listen to his entertaining life stories!

Ill say it again AG, you guys did an awesome job and put on a great event! I cant wait for the next one!

As noted, Saturday's weather was dreary, but the sun did peak out enough to check out the car's finishes. I have to give to Matt, from Autogeek, as the finish on his Z06 was easily the best I saw all day, and probably the only swirl free car there. Great job Matt, and awesome Z06.

The vendors where amazing. Dave from Optimum and Dave from Meguiars provided too much cool information and great stories.

The autogeek 'crew' is amazing and it is no wonder why they are so well known for their great customer service. I have a new level of respect for their operation and how they conduct their operations. It was very nice for Bob (another cool guy) and his gracious crew to open up everything and throw this event for us (the enthusiast and customers). Thank you autogeek for having me!

It was a special treat on Sunday to have Mike Phillips share his wealth of knowledge with us. This is the second (and not the last) time I will attend one of Mike's classes. An absolute gentlemen and just a great teacher. I have been looking forward to the class for several weeks (when Meghan let me know more seats where open) and was very humbled by Mike's good nature and information!

Thanks again to everybody at autogeek and vendors (and Bob for a great lunch on Sunday!!) for putting on such a great event!

Todd was great to see everyone, glad you enjoyed it and that was very sweet of Max aka Bob to buy lunch for everyone on Sunday in the Meguiars class and for the staff.

Todd, thanks for the compliments and it was nice to finally meet you .

We all definitely had a great time, it was nice to meet so many of you and put faces to the names. The Meguiar's class was very cool; I've been reading Mike's posts for years now and never thought I'd have the opportunity to attend one of his classes, so it was definitely a cool experience for me.

Just wanted to say thank you to Lake Country for providing the free pads to giveaway at detail fest.
Also would like to take the time and express our condolences to Eric from Lake Country MFG aka the pad man. As some of you may have already heard he was not able to make it this year, his father passed away last week.

It was a great weekend for myself and everyone at DF, I would like to thank Bob and his Staff for everything they have done and for having the Meguiar's class with Mike was the overall highlight there, Thank you.
