I have been getting a few PM's and emails asking if our Meguiars 105 is the new DA Version. Answer is yes ours is the new DA approved Version. Please see the page, it has all the rest of the info.
Thanks

Meguiars 105

Does the actual bottle label have the DA icon or just the hand and rotary icons?

I have a 12oz sample bottle of 105 DA and it only has the rotary and hand application icons because the newer labels were not printed yet. That may only have been for the 12oz samples though

With all the newer products Meguiars offer, Im a bit overwhelmed at what to choose...my extent of Meg products are QDs, and some of their waxes from a couple years ago

Can someone post a decent list of Meg products to use with a PC machine (DA)? Prefer their high-end line to test out starting from Lt. swirl remover, polisher, sealer and wax

Thanks! :D

80 & 83, 205 & 105, or SwirlX and Ultimate Compound.

Agree with most but the 205 isn't finishing down as well as expected.Still using UF after the 205

what would be a good pad for this. Meguiars Red pad ?

yes, it will have the DA Polisher icon, otherwise you wouldn't be able to differentiate the new version from the old...

I agree with you on 205, on soft paints it will not finish down 100% but when it does finish down properly it works beautifully.

guessing it will be perfect on audi paint then...

Well if you working on a typical audi hard clear then yes M205 should work fine.. but I know for a fact it does not finish down on my 09' Black audi (non metallic) which is very soft

Like Adam said it still needs to be followed up on any type of paint, it just doesn't have the gloss of some of the other finishing polishes.

I found m105 broke down WAY too fast. However, the m205 seemed to perform rather well. I was using PC with orange and green pads respectfully.

So far what i've read it is really hard to judge the how and what with the 205.Some have had luck with it's finishing some haven't .So the only thing is use the 205 and see how it looks and hopefully you don't have to go to a third step like using UF.The plus side of having to use a finishing product like UF it goes on and off very easy.

Would you say 106fa finishes down better?

How is UF on a DA? I know it says it is more for a rotary.
I've only used on a rotary but seen some posting using it on a Pc i questioned the user on how well it worked with a PC but they didn't answer my PM. Maybe post it as a question
