I have heard it uses silicone and as such will likely capture dirt and dust. I prefer water based dressings that dry quickly.

I just looked at the can and nothing about silicone, of course that doen't mean it does not have silicone. It does say it has solvents and resins. I have just one coat for over 6 mos. and it's still going strong and it doesn't attract much dirt or dust.

yeah we took the car out yesterday for the first time in a while due to ignition problems...the exterior has a layer of aquawax (on top of a layer of nattys blue) and the undercarriage has a layer of cd-2. the undercarriage look just like new and the exterior is full of dust.
