Want to add the DWG to my steps as it will not affect the bond of a sealant but have a couple questions. It says that the 601 has cleaners in it as does the 105. Will this take off the DWG if applied on top? Just don't want to waste a step if the 601/105 will strip it off. Thanks for the help.

I have used DWG under 105 many times..great looking..never used it with 601 though...I use 601 only in the winter to help extend the life of the sealant....the DWG is sorta a instant cure product....if the solvents in wax do not remove it..105 will not....105 cleaners are pretty mild....when applied by hand....using a machine with a pad will increase the cleaning due to the fast orbital motion and pad creating heat...

I use 601 on customers cars just for winter prep....we have snow and salt here...so it helps keeping it alive longer to repel the harsh elements...for summer I do not use it....

Everything that has cleaners, will remove whatever is underneath it, so with that said, if 601 and 105 have cleaners, they will def remove DWG

601 does not have cleaners; it's a bonding agent designed to increase the life of 105 as well as shorten the cure time. the cleaners in 105 as so mild as to hardly bear mentioning. you will see by applying it over the dwg that it will not change the look.

Has anyone used 601 with other polishes? It claims it works with polyaminosilicone based polishes.

you can use 601 with just about any sealant thats not a acrylic based sealant like Klasse....and Werkstats and a few other ones acrylic based....now to correct my self here..I never tried it with these products..so I am assuming...

I have used it with 4*..zaino....wolfgang....poorboys...and many more and found no problem in doing so...no bonding issues...no pre-mature failures...in fact some of the short lived sealants seemed to last a bit longer...and looked a little better....

Thanks. I skipped the 601 and went DWG and then DG 105 and it looks awesome. Thank you for the help.
