Dawn Dish Soap
Yeah true, but that's not intended for cars!
To revise my earlier post, by the way, I meant those cheap bug sponges you can get at local parts stores...I haven't tried any from AG! My brother recently put some "character" on his truck with one of those cheap ones. Yikes!
Oh, and I've decided that Mequire's Gel Tire dressing (the purple, grape scented stuff) is evil...at least for me. It gets on everything, the smell never leaves your hands, and good Lord does it build up and turn brown after a while. It takes a great deal of scrubbing to get the old stuff off the tires. The Wife likes the shiny look on her tires, so I used it on hers for a while, but no more! I refuse.

Armor-All, for putting such a high shine on the dash of the fellows car that nailed my old man's truck because the sun hit it and blinded him. It is a moss green 3/4 ton extended cab long bed, how do you miss seeing it?![]()
In all fairness, Armor-All removed low grade silicones from its products several years back. Most if not all of the newer dressings are water based and safe without damage. While I dont prefer their product line as mass market, using meaning low cost ingredients, it still should be ok to use without fear.
