Was on my way to visit friends in Bama with my son. Doing aprox 70 in no hurry and this ford starts to pull out. Crazy thing is that if she would of gunned it she probably would of made it. Anyway she like froze and stopped halfway across. I moved over one lane to avoid(and as the right lane and right side was occupied)-as I move over she decides to go. Now I'm like wtf!!! Apply brakes, and tried to miss the now dead center F150. Come to find out she just got her prescription filled....60 loritabs might just slow you down.

Good news no serious injuries. Seat belts did their thing. Minor glass cuts everywhere. Don't think she's cruise again at least in this chassis.

OH the carnage!!!

WOW! I am glad you and your son are ok. Not many times have I seen carnage like that with someone only walking away with a few scrapes and cuts.

Yea, it's safe to say some menzerna and a Flex won't fix that.:D Good to see your alright.

WOW cannot believe you walked away from that, thank goodness.

I wish mine had a back up. :( Good thing no one was in my car that night.

Thanks Meghan. Very lucky indeed.

Looks bad! Sorry about the car but I'm glad everyone's ok.

Thanks Gary. Their heavy tanks. Certainly not in the nimble category.

Holy Carnage Batman!!!

Wow !!!!!!!! Man Glad you and your son walked away from that .Sorry about the car.

Thats a weird hit, front isn't that bad for that type of impact but the hood is smashed through the glass, I'm guessing the nose caught under the truck causing the hood/top portion of your car to get nailed. Glad your ok.

I had similar thing happen in a truck years ago, pizza delivery guy cut across the road and didn't see me, then he froze when he saw me but was too late. Second I hit the brakes I t-boned him doing about 50-60 mph. He had one of those lowered 80's style Yota pickups. I almost completely separated the cab from the bed. My truck wasn't bad, it was still drivable after that impact, except the portion of the bumper was rubbing into right front tire... Ford makes tough trucks lol

Same kind of stupid accident happened to a buddy of mine that owns a motorcycle parts import company. He was on his BMW R90S when an older woman turned left across his path. And she had to run a red light to do it. Ironic accident in that the at cause party (older woman) suffered an immediate penalty. In an accident like this the person on the motorcycle generally dies or suffers great bodily harm, but in this one the car owner got it. My friend flew over his handlebars, through her passenger side window, and exploded her head with his full face helmet. Except for some serious bruising he was fine. And her family was screaming mad when he filed a claim against her insurance company for medical, loss of work income, and replacement of the motorcycle.

Surfer The nose was down from the breaking so we slid pretty much under the bed and then kept going. A little bit more center and we would of been toast or in intensive. Was very scary and I couldn't believe it while it was happening.

Def lucky, if the speed had pry even been only 10 mph could have drastically changed the outcome looking at what the hood did.

Glad your both alright. Even in gentle repose the ride still looks good.
