Professional Training

Whoa. Now that's an offer . . . I'll probably have to respectfully decline! Hahaha. Have fun with those monsters. In all actuality, if it weren't 6 hours down to my old stomping ground (MMA - I was a bad 17yo), I'd probably join you. I'm willing to learn any way possible.

How much have you really been considering classes with Anthony? Maybe we could work him a package deal for 2 students at once. Save us some money, maybe save him some time. Long shot. But never know.

btw - I live next door to one of the heads of MMA AND, my best friends wife works for all the heads there at MMA. :D

I know that rate they charge there in SA. Right now, I do not have any free time to venture up to the San Antonio area. If I sneek up there, my family will know and make me stay at our ranch up in the hills of Boerne. They will also want me to detail, oh lord, all the 4x4 dullies, Excursion, Toyota Camery Hybrid, GMC Denaly (spelling) and what ever they have at the ranch. I will be stuck there for 2 weeks working on all of those monsters.

Hello,

I was recently contacted by someone, I believe from this thread, but I have somehow deleted their Email.

They had wanted some information on training and I wish to reply but again have lost their info so if it was someone from this thread please re-send your info to me.

Thank you,
Anthony

I think Nick Chapman is in Dallas, he frequents on MOL and is a classy guy with helping others.....

Anthony,

You are in the San Antonio area correct? If so, the person who is trying to get in touch with you is AustinAaron. He lives up in the Austin area.

Check out DetailKing's Training. Nick Vacco and His staff have a Great Detail Training Class. They are very reasonable too! They teach all the processes for todays detailer.

I have always wanted to attend a class given by Mike Phillips. When he was on the west coast the transportation cost was a little prohibited.
Now he is on this side of the rock, I might be able to swing a trip to Florida!

Hey Guy, I'm here in San Antonio. Drive an hour, or so, down I35 and spend some time with Anthony Orosco & Ron Harris. Both are great guys who are easy to talk to, the guys knows their stuff, it's hands on learning, it's very affordable. Anthony showed me how he does the outside of a car. He & I worked on my daughter's 1999 Civic; it turned out...WOW! I've taken people back to Ron for paintless dent repair and I plan on going back to Anthony to see how he cleans the inside of a car and then, eventually, how to detail an engine. While you're down here, grab some good Mexican food.

Nick's a good guy and a great detailer. He's been through both Meguiar's Saturday classes, Car Care 101 and the Advanced Class which covers wet-sanding by hand and machine plus using the rotary buffer to remove sanding marks via compounding and polishing.

Check out this thread,

Unofficial roll call for Dallas, Texas meet

Like they have that many mexican places to eat at in SA. You have to come down to Deep South Texas. Down here, there is atleast ONE Mexican food join on almost every corner. Sometimes two or three of them. Now, we are not so lucky since we do not have one lil Nation Wide please. That place would be Chipotle. Miss not eating the salads they have.

btw - I still need to go up there and meet with Anthony. He was a very nice person when I spoke to him over the phone. One of these days, when I have to venture back up to Boerne, I will make an appointment and meet with him.

By the way, talked w/ Anthony today. Scheduling some classes for the 3rd week in September. Let y'all know how it goes. Very excited. And his classes are MORE than reasonable. Even get the opportunity to work on your own car.

Thanks for the lead guys.

Told ya you would like speaking to Anthony. I knew you would be working on your vehicle ON YOUR OWN! :dblthumb2: Prices are very good as well.

Let me know when you will be going. Maybe I will get one of my family vehicles off the Ranch (I will make SURE it's not the Excursion or the F-350 4x4 Dulles) and might join ya there. Just give me a call Austin, if you still have my cell #.

Yeah, Anthony was super cool. Awesome to be working on my own vehicle, too. I'll give you a shout once my classes are schedule. Should be around the 13th-14th of September. Let's go ahead and leave the Excursion AT HOME. Hahaha.

Uh, the Excursion "might be" easier to do vs. your H3. :Picture:
