Hey Everyone,

Remember that Black Range Rover Sport I did last week? Well, here it the next one that I'm still working on. He wanted this Ford to shine like is Range Rover. I had to advise him it will not shine like the Range Rover since he will only pay for a Stage 1 detail. I advised him the Range Rover was just bought from the Range Rover dealership and they had messed it up. Someone tried to detail it there and did a half you know what to it, which included a compound.

So, I washed the front end, clayed it with Auto Magic red (I know I know) and used my Flex to buff it with Menzerna Finishing Polish. After using the Flex in one or two areas, I decided to put the Flex down and hand wax it with Four Star. I could not tell any difference between buffing it and hand waxing it. So, I called him back and advised him about the issue. I advised him the RR dealership compounded it and I did not. Told him, again, what the difference is between the two. So, he is going to be freaking out until he sees his F-350 this evening. His father and his step-brother-in-law lover what I've done with the F-350 and understand the difference.

Anyways, here are the before pics I took of this this morning. As you can tell, the HUMIDITYwas up there. btw - I only did 3/4ths of the F-350 today. I will do the other section tomorrow. (1/2 the dully to the rear)

Now, here are pictures of the front 3/4trs I was able to complete today. Looks like it was done correctly BUT, it still needs to be compounded and polished. One of these days my client will learn. :dblthumb2:

When you say stage 1 is that some sort of package you offer or did you mean a 1 step polish? If you could not tell a difference between the polished and the unpolished then you be doing something wrong or the truck has no swirls.

Well, I finished the monster today. Here are pictures of the outside. I do not know why people think Black is a hard color to deal with. I think they are easy. My $.02, :xyxthumbs:

Now, I have a question about the Rims. What would YOU USE to polish them?

btw - The Maroon Hummer H2 is NOT NEXT on the work list. The White Land Rover is.

Man. Did this afternoon almost get ruined. I finished the F-350 around 11:30AM and left it outside, not in the warehouse. The owner of this one, was supposed to have poped in last night to check it out and he never did. He did not go by the place this morning either. ugh... His parents, family and all the people that work there loved what I was able to do with it. Oh, it has not rained down here in the South for a few weeks and is NOT suppose to rain for atleast another week. Well, LOL, what happens and the F-350 was parked outside. It rained for about 30 minutes in the area I was in, at my friends body shop checking on a clients BLACK Suburban, and I hope it did not hit the area where the warehouse is located at. Thanks the man up North that the rain did not hit in that area.

Well, an hour after that, my client called (oh boy). He advised me he was heading over to the warehouse. I'm thinking he is going to hate how it looks since I know where the problems were. Well, he loved the look on the F-350. He is starting to understand that The F-350 AND The Black Range Rover Sport both need to be compounded and polished. I advised him to give me a few months before I will do it. Heck, I still have several other families vehicles to detail. I know they will bush my name out to many people across the Valley, especially in the McAllen, TX area. I hope they are willing to drive thier vehicle over 25 miles to my place to get the work done. LOL

Glad the owner was happy. The 350 looks great. Very good work.
