What are you listening to...?

So you're some chubby guy with a mohawk and scabies? Just kidding. It wasn't bad it was like punkabilly and had a decent groove. Plus I think we can all relate to some chick, albeit not one in a nun-outfit (why?), putting a curse on us. You're alright in my book. :xyxthumbs:

Lol, they are called quiff hawks (the hair) , I used to have one when I was younger but I feel to old for that now I'm 26.

So I just have a Pompadour.
I weigh 125 lbs. 5'6" (not that tall I know lol)

The Tattoos I do have however (even my armpit is tattooed) lol that minus the scabies lol

Pyschobilly is Punk Rock mixed with Rockabilly

Rockabilly+Punk Rock = Psychobilly lol

Gonna be jammin some Hall & Oates here in a sec!

Believe it or not, I like them and once again, noone doing what they did nowadays either, guess there was only so much talent to go around, noone gets it anymore, this includes "blue eye'd soul" as well.

Not sure how the radio is by you but Rush is a classic rock staple in Detroit and Chicago, infact I turn off the "burned out" songs from Rush because I've heard them a bazillion times (Tom Sawyer, Limelight, Spirit of the Radio for instance), great songs and those 3 alone are worthy of the HOF. Come to think of it, Deep Purple isn't even in.....REALLY, SMOKE ON THE WATER AND ITS RIFF ALONE GET THEM IN IF THEY HAD NEVER DONE ANYTHING ELSE!!!

Yeah, Rush doesn't get much radio play around here.

Took your advice TD. Great tune. Did a quick fly-by and found a 1927 version.

Rush was mentioned earlier, one about them not being played on their local radio, can't believe that one and another about them being off beat or something or another. Well I'm no musician and don't even play one on the radio but I'm sorry, heard Yyz this morning while in the gym, are you freakin' kidding me!!!

I remember seeing this young Asian girl play Yyz on YouTube and thought it was amazing, check it out sometime. I know this, noone is trying to copy anything nowadays, just the facts plain and simple, you just don't get stuff like Yyz or Moby #### in today's music, why is that?

My beautiful girl and I are heading up to the "thumb" of Michigan for a day or two.

Probably going to listen to:

Lionel Richie's Greatest Hits
Foreigner 4
Christopher Cross
Whitesnake
Anthrax, Sound Of White Noise

When we stop by my place, I'll probably pick up some oldies. My Dad's family is from the Sandusky area, and that's what we listened to when we'd visit, way back in the 80's.

Anthrax and Foreigner, WOW!

For me, Foreigner is one of those over played, cliche'd laiden groups out there but enjoy the trip up there, you going to Bad Axe or Ubly? I had some good times at Ubly Dragway, pity they closed it:-(

We ended up in Harbor Beach, and Port Sanilac. We left because it was just too crowded for me.... We plan on heading up later in the summer. I'll be back there next weekend, as my band has a show at Cornfest in Auburn Mi, just west of Bay City, not to be confused with my home town of Auburn Hills. :-)
