Hi!
I've always been a bit of a gear-head, it runs in my family's genes. But paint was never my specialty. That said, paint ain't what it used to be either. It's alot smarter and alot better quality. I'm not accustomed to as much rainfall and humidity such as NC has, and I'd like to know better how to treat a painted and finshed surface well for moister weather as well as blazing 120*+ heat.

My people think I'm a bit weird because I like a dirty car. But I like a GLEAMING car better so they don't mind much if I "take it (their car) for a ride" every now and then.

I'm hoping to learn alot from everyone here about tips, tricks and how I can bring a better shine to Granny's old Buick or blinding-gleam my 05 Cashmere TBird. And you all sound like you have some good *clean* (sorry,I had to...) fun.

Thanks F150smith! I'm starting to feel right comfy here! I pass thru S.C. on my way to Wilmington every few weeks. I read a couple of your posts and liked the one with your opinion of Mothers. I grew up on the stuff -and I'm not old by any means.
