Harley I appreciate your comments but we don't concern ourselves with what they do on other forums, we are here for our forum members. Life is too short and its just car care! :grouphug:
We are here to give out as much knowledge as we possible can to our members and to assist them to grow into better detailers. AND even better then that we provide a place where detailers can help other detailers, sometimes it just nice to share your individual experiences with each other. So we have a big job here to keep the education flowing and that is what we focus our days on. I appreciate the guys that are here for the right reasons, and I REALLY appreciate all of you helping each other out, because at the end of the day that is what it is all about, right?

Now can we just get back to what we love doing, smelling some good wax and playing with our buffers!? :pc7424:

I must say that I share your opinion Meghan. I do not engage in arguing or strongly debating an issue. I simply comment on a thread and if any heated rebuttal comes up, I just refuse to argue an issue. This is one of the better detailing forums on the web. I also am a member of Detailcity.
I have several other memberships to other detailing forums
just for the sake of seeing if anything new comes up that is not a topic on AG. I really like hearing others experiences and ideas. It does not upset me when someone disagrees
with my opinion. I think all of us should be respectful of another persons ideas and opinions. I try to conduct myself with a code of honor that I will not berate or insult anyone's
comments or ideas. If I disagree, I simply keep that to myself and move on. I think we all can benefit from that behavior. Lets just discuss product and procedures and have a good time. Friendly discussion is much more productive than arguing and getting ones point across and having the last word. :dblthumb2:

there are often many things that can lead to a person changing from a fan to someone less than thrilled with a person or business. Often those people and businesses never know the true reason as the individual fails to take the time and contact them and discuss the issue. Allowing the person the knowledge of the issue often shows a complete misunderstanding and more importantly the communication to resolve it and move forward with at least all sides of the situation .

wait.. I'm confused. There are other car detailing sites out there?

I dont know if this thread was created about me, but maybe in general. I have done nothing to bad mouth AG, so it cant be about me. However, I am not going to post my threads here(as many of you know it takes some time to properly post a detail article) if they are going to get deleted because I am not using AG's LSP's.

Then we need to get down to our CSI:Autogeek tactics and find out who:bat:I'm not a fan of that show though.

Why then is he saying you bad mouthed us on here? If it was just a LSP use, then no harm no foul.

Lou, trust me, two of those people above did bad mouth AG on another site but come over here and act like they never said anything. There are numerous others, Adam I believe just wanted to politely call out the two faced people.

People are entitled to their opinion and not everyone is going to be happy with everyone, but don't act like you didn't say anything when something was said. That was the point of Adam starting this thread.

Which of the below posts from you know where, do you find to be "bad mouthing"?

Not hard to figure out which forum this was done on, Taken from you know where..Auto#### :p

And after seeing that they closed my thread..because of my LSP choice..
Just looked at "The Best LSP" thread on AG, wonder why this one hasnt been blocked out?

Also, just noticed they closed the thread about their rules before any of the big dogs start posting where they distinctly say
Just to clear it up... We do not have a problem with a review being posted with mention of products we don't sell as long as you are not pushing those products with a hidden agenda. And as long as they are mentioned with other products we do carry.
From my thread that was deleted..I even listed Dodo Juice which they carry..Seems they dont even follow their own rules! Da Rules!

I go to numerous (is that the correct term ?) detailing sites and read to learn and contribute if possible. I don't agree with some of the posters but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I try and remain respectful or the site sponsors and owners of said sites.I figure I'm a guest and thankful of what is being offered at no cost to me. When someone baits me and trys to start a line of back and forths that aren't constructive or add anything helpful to the learning process then its time to push back from the keyboard as nobody gains. The mods or owners of AG as well as other detailing sites have every right to run the forum as they see fit and make rules of their choosing.Everybody isn't perfect and makes a bad call now and then.(thats the reason for erasers on the end of pencils LOL) So let's all continue to enjoy AG as well as the other detailing sites and leave the drama for the TV soaps. :dblthumb2: Paul S

Billy since you have changed what you copied and pasted I guess it looks like you didn't. Please don't try and pull wool over people's eyes. You know what you did, several people saw and it and one made a post about it. Deal with it, it is better to man up about it then try to hide from it, it just makes you look worse.

Plus if you didn't feel you were wrong then why did you post. People that feel like something was direected at them or did say something wrong or do something wrong are the first to try and defend themselves. So it looks like Adam has proved his point and you took it hook, line and sinker.

AG had the right to do what they want. Badmouthing it over on TID isn't right(Akimel and others). They don't tell you how to run your household. I'm glad the "big dogs" over on TID didn't get a chance to argue Meghan's thread about rules. That's how it was put over there.

What did I change? I copied and pasted everything from TID. If someone wishes, they may go and see for themselves, its all still there! Im not hiding anything. But I wont let you guys make several threads apparently about me(you have confirmed this) without every saying its about me.

Ive never had a problem with AG, but to delete my thread for listing an LSP is rediculous. And apparently AG has realized that, or else they wouldnt have taken back the ban on the word blackfire.

They do have the right to do what they want, but it doesnt mean people will agree, this doesnt matter either, its still their forum. I dont agree, and Ive made it apparent. Not hiding this, nothing personal against any one person, but just stating how I felt about the forums seemingly NEW rules. The thread on the rules were closed before any of us could even post how we feel, so someone made a post about it on another forum.

Lets see Billy didn't you put PAC in front of several products. I didn't see it at first but I got several e-mails about it so I looked and there it was. That is being a smartass and acting out towards AG. So you changed it now, just don't lie about you not changing the above. It doesn't matter if you are pissed at AG, but I think the point was of the op is that instead of contacting Meghan and getting things fixed you had to take the childish way and play games on another site, it isn't just you it it others. The op found it funny how you were all about AG at detail fest and then you act like that, once again just not you. That was the point of his post.

As far as confirming you did do what was said, you came on here defending yourself, so I guess you personally confirmed it for those on this forum.

Well said.

Even though I agree with the above and have even typed things like the above it can be too easy to let oneself get dragged into an argument and for this reason I to practice the art of pushing away from the keyboard.

My favorite thing to do is when others are arguing, I'd rather go make something shiny and then start a new fun thread and post a picture of it. It's my way of leaving
the negative behind and moving forward with something fun.

Like this, I haven't buffed my own personal truck out since before June, maybe not since March or April. In June the hood came off and the engine came out and in the process of cleaning up the engine compartment and installing a new engine the sides of the fenders got all scratched up and overspray paint on them.

The wheel were used as step to step-up and into the engine compartment and as such are pretty scratched up. The tires are on the dry side and a combination of gray and brown from blooming. So we cleaned up a little...

Hey, hey, hold on. I never put anything concerning PAC on this forum out of respect to the forum because as we all know, they are direct competitors. The thread you are actually referring to is the 370Z which I never even posted on this forum! Say what you will, but your wrong.

This just confirms that this thread was made about ME, a personal attack without saying it, and I am just here defending myself with nothing but the truth. I even posted my actual posts from the other forum. So call it what you will. :props:
