Thanks for including Canadians in on this deal ! :applause:
hey, i thought the US government put a stop to that....
hahaha, jokin. Nice prize man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well yesterday afternoon I finally got a chance to get out into the garage and test out the products that I won in the Loser Giveaway.
XMT 360
XMT Carnauba Finishing Glaze
XMT 180 High Gloss Carnauba Wax.
I tested the XMT 360 with a 5.5” tangerine Lake Country Hydro-Tech Pad & my G100 on the hood of my truck. First the product smells awesome. It has a nice cherry scent. I placed a quarter sized amount (like the bottle says) onto my pad and began to spread the product out on speed 3.5 and once it was spread out I kicked it up to 5 and worked the product over a small section of the hood. After a couple passes the product nearly disappeared like the bottle said. I then gave the hood a final wipe to remove the small amount of residual product that was left and you could see there was a noticeable difference. It removed some of the light swirl marks (there were still some left) and left a nice bright reflective finish.
Next I applied the XMT Carnauba Finishing Glaze with a 5.5" White Lake Country CCS pad. Again this product has an nice grape smell. The consistency of the product is fairly runny, but spread out nicely, wiped off easily and gave the finish a slight bit more gloss over just the XMT 360. I know most people would probably not use this after the XMT 360, but I had it so I wanted to give it a try.
Finally I hand applied a coat of XMT 180 High Gloss Carnauba. The wax spreads out nicely and seems to dry fairly quickly. I’ve had problems with long drying times with a lot of waxes I have used at my house, but the XMT 180 dries quickly and wipes off with very little effort. It also has a pleasant grape scent.
My one and only Complaint was with the flip top cap on the XMT 360. I could not squeeze the product out of the bottle with this cap. I had to remove the cap in order to pour the product out of the bottle. I don’t know if the bottle had the wrong cap on it or what, but the hole in the flip top cap is just too small to enable the product to be squeezed out of the bottle.
Other than that one minor thing with the cap, I think these products work great and want to thank Autogeek again for letting me try these products out. I will definitely be purchasing some more of these products in the future. :xyxthumbs:
Thanks
Ok here it is, you can only jump in this thread if you have not won before. So this is for those that always wanted to win but never have. DO NOT post if you have wone before or you will be publicly disqualified.
I will pick a couple winners on Monday.
Ok I felt bad since you guys have not won anything, so I picked a few more then two and I will promise to do this again soon.
PLUS if anyone notices that one of these names has won before I welcome you to bring that to my attention. I hope everyone was honest with this but I want to make sure that this is fair.
As for the prizes I have picked six prizes ranging widely, and I am going to put them all in one box with the names and addresses and let my warehouse staff randomly grab the prize and the address they are going to ship it to. This way no one can call and yell at me!
So winners congrats and please PM me with your info.
