Hi, my name is Zack and I am new to detailing. I just purchased a black on black '09 G37 Sport sedan and am looking to absorb as much information as possible to keep it looking sharp. I look forward to learning a lot from everyone.
 
Welcome Zack. Nice car, going to have to work to keep it clean, but thats where the fun is anyway. What part Va. are you from. In Roanoke myself, several members here from the Commonwealth as well.

Hey Fred, nice to meet you. I'm in Fairfax, up in NoVa. Yeah, I've got a lot of work and a lot of learning to do to keep it clean.
 
Nice to have another Virginian Zach, and another Autogeek. Welcome. How did your new ride look upon delivery from the dealer? Did they give you any bonus scratches?
 
Welcome to AG Zach. VR8 and myself are in Lynchburg, VA. And hour from Roanoke and about 2.5 hours from you. Welcome to the sickness...
 
I used to live in Lynchburg, VA. Miss it, I'm in TX now, have a black car too....

Thanks, no visible scratches in the sunlight, but we'll see when I clean it up in preparation for some DGPS later this week (weather permitting that is).

That's funny, a couple of my friends are from TX and they miss it. Mainly the warm weather. What kind of car do you drive?

I drive a black Jetta, yeah I can understand missing the warmer weather, quite honestly I miss the colder weather.
