The Brinkman Swirl Finder Light aka The Cruel Master!

autogeek_2077_70936485

You've seen them demonstrated by Mike Phillips for years and now Autogeek.net is pleased to offer the Brinkmann Swirl Finder Light

Glad you guys could finally find out a way to get them in!

The Brinkman Swirl Finder Light, aka The Cruel Master, is one of my favorite tools, it's a must have for your detailing arsenal.

We also use it at every class we hold, it's indispensable for checking your results. I actually pack one with me wherever I go because I can help car owners see the swirls in their car's paint and sometimes this helps me to gain a new customer.

Most people are intrigued when they see you looking at their car's paint with this special light and that's all you need sometimes to open the door, especially if you want to go aver the Special Interest car market as a lot of people that own really cool cars don't even know what swirls are until you show them.

You can see us using it in this thread...

It duplicates what the sun does. It's invaluable for our classes, especially if it's an overcast day. Without the sun you can't see before and after results unless you have the Brinkman.

I give it two thumbs up!

Totally agree, invaluable for inspecting your work.

Also a valuable tool if you let your dogs outside at night, and they are hiding on you.... That sucker lights up my backyard like it's noon.

Besides a great swirl finder light it's also a great general purpose flashlight for around the house, in the car while traveling and even camping.

The car charger is a great bonus.

I have 3 of these next to me in my office and one will go with me out to the truck as I push away from the keyboard. I mark each one with a number, (1, 2, 3), as this helps me to remember which one was on the charger last.

Pushing away now...

I was getting ready to order one off Amazon, now I can get it here. Cool :xyxthumbs:

SWEET!!!

I was looking through AG trying to find these because I wasn't completely sure if you sold them or not!

Now you do, I might add one to my order!

had one for years and consistently offer them as a low cost way to bust swirls.

How come # 2 is missing some kind of thingy on top ?

What is the "thingy" ?

The thingy is a retractable hanging ring. The number 2 light probably has it flipped forward which is why you don't see it.

I like that! You work in marketing?

:)

I wish I worked in marketing. Had the package on the shelf in a closet. Opened it up and read it. I got mine when you taught us at Wash Solutions in Dallas a few years ago. It's a really good tool.

Oh yeah thanks for the apron and CD case. I'll see you at Nick's place in a few weeks.

Hi Derrick,

Man time flies when you're having fun, that class was held back in February of 2006! If you had not told me that you attended that Roadshow class in Dallas I wouldn't have known, it's just too hard to remember all the names, let alone forum names from all the people I've had the good fortune of meeting in this industry. Thanks for reminding me. There's still a thread from that class here.

It was very cold the day of the class, there was black ice on the roads and everyone was wearing coats in the warehouse during the hands-on demonstrations.

But you're correct, we used the Brinkman Swirl Finder Light for the sessions on working by hand, with a DA Polisher and a rotary buffer because the warehouse didn't have enough lighting to enable everyone to see the before and after differences.
