I just purchased a foam cannon HD for my Karcher pressure washer. I can't wait to use it, but I can't figure this thing out. I think a piece is missing. The foam cannon came with the Karcher adapter and a brass male nipple connector, but they don't seem to mate together. Is a separate adapter supposed to be provided or is this something I can pick up at the HD?

Do you have any pics? Maybe we can figure this out...

The nipple and the karcher adapter should screw together. Then they screww into the foam cannon .Then you attach that to the gun. Pictures would really help to see what you exactly have

Pics included. BTW the unit is a KARCHER K2.38M model electric pressure washer. It looks like a coupler is needed between the brass connector and the provided adapter.

O yea, that doesn't look right.

I guess Megan can chime in on that.

Ok, so I ran to the HD this morning thinking I could find some kind of adapter to couple the two pieces together. I couldn’t. What’s the thread size on the Karcher adapter and the brass fitting? I thought I would need a ½’ to ¼’ coupler to mate the two, but I could not find anything that would fit the Karcher thread. Do I need a metric adapter? :(

Yes they are metric. You may have to find a commercial Karcher dealer near by and get the fitting from them.

Thanks for the reply. Would you happen to know the thread size? I should be able to order this online. It seems that Karcher's are fairly popular pressure washers.
I would think all sorts of people would be having this problem unless my particular washer is different from what others are using. It would be nice if AG carrier these couplers as well. It's a real inconvenience to try to track this down. The cannon isn't much use without it.

I have a Karcher K3.67M with a Foam Cannon HP. The Kit should come with everything you need to hook it up and start foaming.

In Picture 2 of 4, that little black piece that connects to the Karcher trigger gun should screw right onto the gold piece. You may need pliers or something to tighten it because if I remember correctly, it becomes very difficult to tighten after just a couple of turns.

It should just fit on, no adapters needed or anything. Don't start trying to add any adapters because that can mess up the unit and it may just leak water or air all over the place.

Which foam cannon did you purchase? Did you choose the K-Series fitting when you placed your order? It looks like everything is all there, man. If anything, it looks like you may have installed the gold piece in reverse order or something.

I will go home and try to disassemble my unit and figure it out for you.

Aha! This looks like what I was looking for. I had seen some of these connectors online, but I was afraid to order one since I wasn't sure about the thread size. This is perfect. Hopefully I will be foaming by this weekend.

Thanks rwisejr! :props:

Maybe you can post some pictures of the correct setup for others to view just in case they have the same issue. Thanks

I was planning on doing this today but I couldn't put down the foam cannon. I will do this next time I wash along with foam pics.

How many psi does a karcher need to use a foam cannon? Looks like it might be a good tool to have.
