Hey guys, so I've been wanting some practice with the rotary and M105. I was fortunate enough to come across an old door from a 78 Cadillac limo. I want to say the car has been resprayed, but it is single stage paint. It was in horrible condition when I got it, but I'll stop rambling and let the pictures show.

These first 6 pictures show the condition of the paint:

This is after a few passes with wool and M105 on the rotary:

Sorry I didn't post any pictures of the middle step. I hit it with M205 and a white pad. These last pictures are after I finished with 3M UF and a blue pad.

I think the results came out pretty good. I would have loved to wetsand a little bit, but I apparently didn't have any. Feel free to leave any comments or tips.

Thats a shame you didn't have any sand paper on hand, but stuff like that is never around when you need it. The results would have been even better, but thats a huge improvement none-the-less!

I'm looking to pick some up for the second half of the door. The main thing was to get a feel for this polish which I think I accomplished. I will definitely update the thread though. Thanks for the compliment!!
