A BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 11 AM EST SUNDAY.
INTENSE LOW PRESSURE TRACKING UP THE COAST TODAY INTO TONIGHT WILL RESULT IN A PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW AND HIGH WINDS ACROSS LONG ISLAND. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 10 TO 15 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED. WIND GUSTS OF UP TO 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE... ESPECIALLY LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT. THESE STRONG WINDS ALONG WITH THE HEAVY SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO UNDER A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES... AND CAUSE SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW.
SIGNIFICANT VARIATION IN SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE WARNING AREA BASED ON WHERE BANDING OF SNOWFALL DEVELOPS.
 
We here in the central PA area are getting the blizzard like conditions right now.(11:00 AM) Now, think about all the rain this year,(at least we had a lot) it rained here nearly every two to three days all year long. If that trend keeps up....We better get used to the snow now.

I'm out in Suffolk and not wanting this at all. But we're gonna get clobbered. It's starting to flurry now at 11:54. I hate this stuff.
 
That sucks. It's sunny as hell here in California :).
 
Damn, that sucks!! I cant beleve being stuck inside doing nothing, I would go crazy after 2 days. I guess living in Arizona ( armpit of america ) right now is not that bad! high today 72 :xyxthumbs:
 
I don't see what the problem is. Sounds like fun to me. I wish we'd get that here.

For the first 24 hrs it's fun. Then it gets to be a real drag. Plus they're talking 40-50MPH winds. That just plain sux
 
We got about 14 inches already and it still snowing and blowing hard.
 
thats why I moved to Florida 20 years ago....sorry guys, don"t miss it at all

What in the world is snow? Never see that stuff. Im the MAN I almost detailed the interior of a Jeep in shorts today. I might wear shorts tomorrow since I have to do the exterior. THAT is going to be a pain since the Jeep has not been washed in MONTHS!!

Our high on Monday is suppose to be at, or over, 77° F. It will be like that on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. :eek::p :cruisin:
