Well,its morning, the storm is gone, and I have over 30" of snow to shovel out of my very long 2 car wide driveway. Nice that we will have a white Christmas, but holy cow, I havent seen this much snow in a very long time.

I do not even own pants all I own is shorts. Even go to church in shorts. That is why I also moved from the north to south Florida.

That is why Florida has a little more of an advantage. You have the Gulf of Mexico & the Atlantic ocean to deal with. All we have, down here, is the Gulf of Mexico. Also, there are mountains in Mexico which causes us a lil problem. We get alot of wind down here when a front tries to come in from the North. Winds go well over 40 at times. Plenty of dust to deal with. Our high temps can be in the 30's on day. The next, 50s. On Wednesday, we are suppose to hit 81° F w/ a 20% chance of rain. Christmas day, our high is suppose to be in the low 60s.

22" here in northern MD, and had to snowblow/shovel up to 3' drifts for about 4 hours today. Snow drift were my lifted titan was parked was half way up the door!

Feel bad for yall up there

My son got a two week leave from the Marine base at 29 Palms in Ca. and his flight came into Newark New Jersey airport at 10pm on saturday. What a nasty drive down the NJ turnpike. He thought he heard someone say that his flight was going to be the last one let in that night. It was a slow snowy trip but we made it home, anyway, it's been almost a year since we had seen him so it was worth the trip.

Tell your son THANK YOU for me, and I appreciate what he is doing for us and our GREAT country. You tell him I'd be INCREDIBLY HONORED to shake his hand. You should also stand very tall for raising such a fine young man that would unselfishly serve his country and fellow american... Thank You!!! (I'm glad he could be home for Christmas)!
