Trying to finalize the process. Since I recently had my cars done professionally, the paint is in good shape. When I start to do my bi-annual full detail, this is my plan:

Wash
clay
WG FG with hydro tech tangerine pad on griots DA
Klasse AIO with grey flat pad on griots
Klasse SG with blue flat pad on griots (or by hand, haven't decided yet)
Top with souveran

My question is, would I see a noticeable difference adding a different polishing step after the WG FG? Something like PO87MC or PO85RD on a grey pad?

Maybe? What color of paint are you working on and how good are your eyes?

Klasse AIO is a cleaner/wax, so following a finishing glaze with a cleaner/wax is what I call working backwards. After the finishing glaze you could and should go to your finishing wax or paint sealant which in your scenario is the Klasse SG

Using a finer polish than the Wolfgang Finishing Glaze may get you a tick more clear finish but not from my experience as the WG FG is a very good finishing cleaner/polish.

Maybe do a test spot with just the FG and the SC after you wash and clay.

Marks a section of paint and only use the FG and then mark a section and use the FG followed by the AIO and then compare the two sections and see if one looks better, that is more clear than the other side.

Differences are best seen on medium to dark colors. It's hard to see dramatic differences in white and light colors so unless you're working on dark colors you probably won't be able to do a test like the one above and actually see a dramatic difference.

My question is said:
The Menzerna PO85RD make a noticeable difference in the finish of my car.

This is a picture of my car after using the following system:
1)Optimum Car Wash
2)Clay Bar
3)WG TSR - white pad
4)WG FG - Blue pad
5)Menzerna 85 RD - Blue pad
6) WG DGPS - Red pad

NOTE: I decided not to take pictures of my car. But the result was so amazing that at the last minute I took pictures using my iphone.Believe me the picture do not make justice to that mirror like finish.

085rd is a great finishing polish and can add a level of "jeweling" after most polishes. Some consider it one of the best final polishes to date.

Sorry, should have mentioned color! I have both ends of the spectrum, a black tacoma and a silver vette.

I only mentioned using the WG FG because I bought the WG twins when they were on special a few weeks ago. I also already have the 32oz klasse twins on hand as well. I was under the impression that the SG actually bonded better if a layer of AIO went on first? That was my reason for suggesting the FG followed by AIO and SG.

Since I have already had the paint on both vehicles professionally corrected, if another product would work better prior to putting on the klasse twins, I am open to try. Maybe just skip the WG twins until really needed? The vette is pretty much perfect, garaged during the week and driven on nice weekends, so how does this sound: wash, clay, PO85RD on grey, AIO on grey, SG on blue, souveran. The tacoma is our daily driver and will probably benefit from something with a little bite to it to start, so maybe go with something like wash, clay, PO87MC on white, AIO on grey, SG on blue, souveran.

Roman, awesome pics!

Thanks for the help and suggestions everyone! I am just starting out, so trying to make good purchases the first time around. Like I said earlier, I already have the WG twins, Klasse twins, and souveran on hand. I am open to any and all suggestions for other polishes and pads and which pads to use with which polishes and in which order :dblthumb2:

Try using what you have to start with as you have some very nice products.

If you had the cars professionally detailed, and they haven not seen much use or been touched much since, then maybe just wash and dry, or wipe clean and then inspect with your hand to make sure the paint is still smooth and glassy feeling. If it is then just apply the SG using a very thin coating.

If the paint looks great then you shouldn't have to or need to re-polish. If the paint looks like it needs to be polished again then try just the FG to a Test Spot and see how it looks.

Deciding which direction to ultimately move forward with depends upon first going out into the garage and doing a little testing.

Start with a clean surface. Apply something, then inspect in good lighting, preferably two kind of light.

It all starts with some action in the garage to a small area to see what's what. If you run into anything unexpected then post back here what you see.

Gotcha. As usual, I am probably overthinking stuff which happens a lot when I have downtime at work and ready access to AG ;) I am just trying to plan for the future, as I want to take care of the vehicles myself. I'll stick with the chemicals I have and order the griots DA, 2 white, 2 grey, and 2 blue flat pads then just go from there.
