Maybe because you don't have to let it sit for 45 min to a hour.

It is, Wolfgang use to be the easiest but this is by far a lot easier to use, there really isn't any other way to say it, but yes, it is that much easier to use. I was in the same boat as others with WG about the ease of use, but once I used Blackfire, it is that much easier.
 
I don't know what's easier..applying it or removing? 7-8 tiny drops of BF with a gold LC pad can easily do a whole car. A 3 year old could wipe a car down to 95%.

I have both and would say they are pretty similar. I prefer the Blackfire as it seems to be a little slicker but think you would be happy with either one. :xyxthumbs:
 
I applied my first coat of Blackfire to my Camaro last night and it does seem a little slicker and easier to wipe on and off then WG. However, if I weren't trying to compare the two I may not have even noticed a difference. I have to agree with Rasky, people will be happy with either choice. The biggest difference is probably is the price tag.
 
I've not used WGDGPS but have no intentions to. My cap on a sealant is $30 bucks for 16oz. WGDGPS (before any discounts) is already $35 (or seemingly permanently "on sale" from $40) for 16 ounces.

Popular Sealants from Four Star, Blackfire, Prima, Zaino, etc all meet my $30 per 16 oz criteria. (or in some cases, beat it).

Menzerna Powerlock is very similar to BFWD and is carried by AG. Powerlock gives a wet, slick finish and is very easy on/off. I apply it to the entire car, make sure it's hazed, then immediately buff it off....just like with BFWD.
 
How long do you let BFWD sit on your car before you wipe it off? Does the Polycharger boost reduce the amount of time it has to sit on your paint before buffing?

PolyCharger helps the product longevity wise, it may help it cure a bit faster but your best bet is just a simple swipe test.

Apply it, wait 15-30 minutes and use your finger to swipe a bit of the sealant off the hood. If it comes clean and doesn't smear you can go about removing it.

To me, they are like 1 and 1A. Two best sealants out there, but I do think I give a slight edge to BFWD in ease of use, slickness and of course, price.

Can't go wrong with either. I have both in my arsenal and use them interchangeably.

Couldn't agree more. Both of these are amazing products.

Another thing to consider is what you use as a topper(if any). For example, if you are topping with Fuzion, you would probably want to use WGDGPS. Product lines are designed to be synergistic.

For those who are considering the WOWA sealants, both UPGP and Opti-Seal are really nice choices. Can't go wrong with either. These are my go to products on other peoples cars. So easy and fast it's unreal. Great for headlights, taillights, and windows too. I hit my lights with either of these every other wash. They are also incredibly economical because very little product goes a long way.
