I detailed my 2000 Mercedes C280 I recently bought this weekend. What a job! Took me around 20 hours total :o Sorry, no before pics, but the paint was in rough shape. Probably waxed once or twice in the 10 year period of the car (It was a Preowned Certified MBZ). The paint felt like gravel (not THAT bad, but you get the idea ;) ) before I clayed it :(. Moderate swirls as well. All is good now and after claying, and polishing it honestly feels like glass now :D.
Products used:

DP Xtreme Foam Shampoo
Cobra "The Bone"
2 Bucket Method

Clay:
Meguiars Clay kit

Polish:
Meguiars 105
Meguiars 205

Sealant:
Duragloss 105

Misc.:
303 Aerospace Protectant
Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Foam
Mothers Chrome Polish
Stoners Invisible Glass Spray

MF's:
Cobra Shamrock
Cobra Edgeless Arctic Towels

Nice man! Is that the car you were needing help with?

Yes :). The M205 seemed to pull some more of the scratches out, though I didn't get everything. Probably 85% or more. I still would love to meet up with you and get some tips. I need some for working the bumper/fender. VERY tedious

Looks very nice! :xyxthumbs: Looks like those headlights could use a little help there as well.

You do realize that car doesn't have ceramiclear right? ;) MB didn't start using ceramiclears on their cars until 2003. Once I hear from one of the customers waiting for the weather to clear up I'll let you know when you come down and you can watch us and we can maybe show you a few things on your car. ;)
