Im looking for the best water based tire product that has a semi to high gloss. its gotta be strictly water based. Appreciate the help.

I would recommend Meguiar's Hyper Dressing. You can dilute it with water to the level of shine you want.

Choose from four possible finishes with Meguiars Hyper Dressing:
High Gloss 1:1
Medium Gloss 2:1
Satin Finish 3:1
Natural Finish 4:1

By the way, seeing this is your first post, :welcome: to Auto Geek Online!

^ +1

I have Hyper Dressing and I have it at a 3.5:1 dilution. Works great.

I used 303, opti bond, and vinylex. Great for a low gloss look. Thought of trying pinnacle or wolfgang. Any pics of either.

Does it have a uv protection ?

Just a little bit, apparently. Opti-Bond has more UV protection, but it is not as versatile as Hyper Dressing. You can use HD on exterior trim, tires, wheel wells, interior plastics, and under the hood, so it's a very cost effective product.

Any pics of pinnacle or wolfgang, I'm looking foward to it.

I have used Hyperdressing for dressing the engine compartment, It holds up well there and does not attract that much dust, when using the 3:1 dilution.

What does it look like on tires?

I like the high gloss but don't like the mess of silicone based junk. And also the dangers of potential tire damage. That's one thing I find useful in water based dressings, no crack or discoloration.

Just out of curiosity, how many posts related to tire dressing are you going to start? You've got 3 now. You've had a LOT of good suggestions in the other 2 threads, why do we have a third for the same thing?

just signed in to autogeeks today. had to get a hang of things

Use the threads you've already started to continue conversations for the same thing. THere's no need to spam the board with the same question in 4 different threads...

lol Read the forum rules my friend. ;) Loudog said something in one of your other threads already, please respect the community. kthxbye

no one else has commented about my other threads due to the fact that im new here. Respect the members. thank u

Ummmm, please go back through ALL 4 of the threads you've started asking about tire gels and you'll see where Loudog is asking you to stop posting new threads about the same thing. I mean, welcome to AG and all, but being as you're new, I'm filling you in that you only need 1 post to get the answer you're looking for, not 4. Please keep your conversation in one of the 4 and let the other 3 fall off the board.

A rocky start... but this is a wonderful and friendly community of helpful people. Multiple threads with the same subject is unnecessary though, and no need to tell people to "Stay out" LOL.

Anyway, I vote for Opti-Bond. Love the stuff! :xyxthumbs:
