Wanna use the following in these steps
PB SSR1
Colonite 845
Colonite saphire
PB exp sealant

gonna use the 7424 with white pads for PBSSR1 and black finishers for everything else.
i was just curious if the PBEXP sealant was ok to use after the colonites, we get lots of inclement weather in the winter (road salt) and in the summer at the shore (salt spray, airsalt) so i wanna protect and shine as best i can. I use the 845 on my personal watercraft and i feel it is the best for this, still beading after a full 4 months of use in the saltwater almost everyday!! anxious to see the saphire on my escalade thou !!!

I would recommend that you put the sealant on before any waxes. The sealant needs to bond with the paint. It will have a difficult time bonding with the paint if there is a layer of wax in between. Good luck

Collinite Sapphire is a cleaner/wax. Applying it after any other LSP will most-likely remove whatever's already applied. The cleaners are pretty stout for a cleaner/wax, IME, and the protection doesn't come close to the longevity of other Collinite products.

Why anyone would want to put anything on top of 845 is beyond me. It's a sealant/wax with polymers and carnauba and has legendary beading and longevity. IF I were going to top 845 with anything it'd be Collinite 915. I found that combo to be less slick than 845 alone and a bit deeper but slightly muted finish.

After polishing and prep if you want to use a sealant I'd be topping it with 845, not the other way around. 845 outlasts any sealant I've ever used and IMO, you want the most-protective product on the top.

Save the Sapphire for a one-step, hand application. That's what it's best at.

YMMV... TL

i goofed on the steps part i had colonite products flipped sorry even I know the insulator goes last duh!! my mistake, so i can go like this

Wash- foam gun 2bucket method
Dry - microfiber
