Hi,

I know lots of you guys hate power washers, but I'm lazy and middle aged.

Bought the Taskmaster 1850PSI on sale for $120 (normally $175).

Your not supposed to use them in winter but even though the local weather report said it's 28 degrees, our thermometer said 40. It's safe and sound in the house now.

Rolled out the PW a hose and a cord. Pulled out the Black Accord (though i power wash it every three days at the local self car wash. It's not been touched with a brush or mitt since the dealer detail 1 1/2 months ago. Lots of dirt and salt especially lower panels.

Was happy with the washer. Didn't try soap, the soap mode seamed lame (no power). Sprayed for 15 minutes or so car looked very good. It's got great paint, nice shine and little to no orange peel. Still i had a thin layer old dirt on the lower panels. So I did a one bucket wash with a new soft long handle brush and some MeGuires car soap.

Jelly bladed the top 35%.

Toweled the next 20%. let the reat air dry.

Car screams "I'm so cool". Realy it looks very nice for a 100,000 mile car. An ex Honda mechanic ask me the mileage, I said guess. He guessed "not much more than 50K. Only wrong by 50,000 miles.

You guys really earn your money. My a$$ was tired and I' didn't do a quarter what you guys do.

Well enjoy shinny black cars,,,,anyway you wash them,

Allan

PS Forgot to say it paID FOR ITSELF ALREADY BY, REMOVING THE DEALER LOGO STICKER THE DEALER HAD BRANDED on THE TRUNK. It TOOK IT OFF IN A FEW MINUTES by spraying at 15 degrees from both sides.:props:.

No ........... but we do! LOL

I know about that battle ......... each time I purchase a new car I tell myself I'm not getting black again. I'm easily won over by a clean black car so on goes the battle on my end. At least you know how to take care of them now! :props:
