Alright I am at a conundrum...

I found a hell of a deal on a Aztec Hot Water Extractor which can make me more money and give me better work on cleaning carpet and mats vs a brush and vacuum.

Or a D50 Nikon D50 Body and Lens Kit. The camera will only let me take better photos, but the extractor will make me more money(I hope).

Each is $500 but I dont know with which to go for and each has the ability to make me more money. Camera gives me better shots over my shitty 5mp camera to show off my work better, but the extractor gives me better work on interiors!

Buy the extractor and then use the extra money you make from using the extractor to buy a camera.

If you decide to get the camera, do not get the D50 you have linked. You can get the D3000 from WalMart with and 18-55 lens and pouch for $500 brand new and it is a 10.2 megapixel vs 6.1.

I would get the extractor personally. I just got my aztec in yesterday (I would have loved it for $500) and tried it out on an old mat and it is GREAT! I cant wait to figure out my system with it because it has alot of potential to take my cleaning to the next level AND speed up the process on cars too!

You can always find a good deal on a camera and lenses somewhere, maybe not so much on the extractor.

The pics are just for bragging rights. Get the extractor and do better quality of work. Only your customers and you have to be happy...you don't need to impress anyone else. Good work will bring you all sorts of repeat biz and referrals...you'll soon be able to buy an even better camera, although I just bought myself a Nikon D3000 and I love it.
