This vehicle is owned by the same owner of the Range Rover I did. I starting this one this morning at about 9:30 and went untill 9:30 tonight. I still ahve a LITTLE bit left to do, but for the most part it is finished. I just have to make a few Ultrafina passes on the passenger side and seal/wax the passenger side.

This vehicle must have been clayed no more than a month ago or so. The paint was EXTREMELY clean and free of debris.

Process:

Prep:
Washed via TBM Meguiar's Gold Class
Wheels/ wheel wells done with APC, various brushes and a wheel dedicated mitt
Clayed with Meguiar's Mild Clay and water

Polisher/Pads:
Porter Cable 7428 Rotary
3M Superbuff III Wool pad
4" LC Purple Foamed Wool pad
LC Kompressor White pad
LC CCS Blue pad
LC Spot Buff CCS White pad

Polishes:
Meguiar's M105
Meguiar's M205
3M Ultrafina

Protection:
Collinite 845

LSP:
AutoGlym HD wax 2 coats

Wheels:
Meguiar's Hyper Dressing 3:1
Wheel Wax

Before pictures do no justice. The car was extremely clean.

Fixing the hack artists mistakes. These actually scared me a little bit. Lovely buffer trails.

Final product guys: Again, overcast skies. Had to leave it in the garage. The tops on Gallardos have issues with getting stuck when you don't crank the car then do it. Well his got stuck because I asked to see the engine... No ride today. Gonna have to wait till Friday when I head back over there.

Also, I would like to add that alot of help came form Asphalt Rocket. He gave me a lot of little hints so I have to give credit where credit is due.

Great job! Gray is one of those colors that isn't fun to work with. I like seeing you next project out in the driveway. Great Work.

Awesome job! The Gallardo looks great.

Very nice! Looks like the engine bay could also use a good detail.

I think its the flash on my camera... It looked almost immaculate in person. So hard to get to as well...

It looks really dirty in the first picture. The engine bay on my coupe was pretty easy to get to. You can stand at the back of the car and get to most of the engine bay. The way the hood opens up on the spyder with hinges in the rear makes it much harder.

I'll take a closer look Friday when I head over there again. I'm working on his buddy's black Tahoe (only wash, wax, interior type thing) and I will probably get to ride in the Gallardo that same day Im the MAN

It'll be the first time I've ever sat in an exotic, let alone get a ride. Should be the fastest car I've been in too. Fastest one so far is a bolt on LS1 Camaro that's probably running mid-low 12's. No real oppurtunities to get into the track queens around here...

Nice work:xyxthumbs:

Thanks man.

Nice job Zinc. Was Dana helpful or just in the way?

Little bit of both lol. Nawh, he was a huge help. Gave just enough hints to give me confidence, but not enough to just give the secrets away ya know? Very helpful guy and this work just proves it.

You are welcome Zinc, glad to help. You did a great job on the Lambo and you heeded my warning about taping all the rubber trim.

Dad, you know you are the only one that thinks I get in the way.:dblthumb2:

Nice work and nice car!

Convertible makes all the difference to me with these cars. I've done both, and the convertible is by far my favorite.

Oh man, I got a ride in thie thing today. Good God at the top end of this thing. Pulls pretty nice in 1st gear, but it just doesn't let up. The bolt on LS1 Camaro I was using as a comparison pulled the same in first gear, but the Lambo would have dominated the top end and LS1's are known for having good top end... I was VERY happy with the short ride around the block LOL I LOVE the cabin exhaust note. I'm like a giddy little school girl.
