Beading sizes UPGP/Nattys Blue/Fuzion

OK fine, not if you leave it in my garage. My car can sit in there pretty much dust free for weeks.

I can't tell you how crazy it makes me. I washed my red car Friday evening. It has been in the garage since then. Went out this morning (less than 48 hours later) and you can see a nice thin layer of dust!

My contrast, you can hardly see any dust at all on my wifes silver car!

And this is with a sealant. I can only guess what it would be like with a nuba.

Seal and climate control your garage :)

That is what I expect as well. I'm sure the Fuzion will outlast but one of the other things I am testing is to see how well these waxes last applied over the Ultima Paint Prep Plus. I polished the hood and part of the side with WFG but lightly polished (cleaned) the whole car with the Ultima PPP. I know the UPGP will last forever with that but am curious to see how well the Wax bonds to it. Also curious to see if there is any difference in dust and pollen buildup between these 3 products.
I loved the application, smell, and removal of both waxes.

Thanks Tad, I am going to apply some Fusion over the top of the 3 layers of UPGP I have on Skybaby. Probably next weekend.
Corey, I havent tried PB, but I KNOW beyond doubt that Fuzion is a dust magnet. Seriously, you will see a big increase in dust UNTIL you apply FK 425 over the Fuzion. IME that will neutralize the static charge. Hmm... maybe you can do a test within a test!

You need to apply FK 425 or 146. IME the anti-static claims are absolutely true!

I've been using FK425 for years.

In my experience, it does not make a lsp that is a dust magnet suddenly stop being a dust magnet. It might have a positive effect and reduce the *initial* dust attraction from the static charge or whatever you want to call it after the initial application of the lsp, but that's about it in my experience.

Hey Old Tiger,
I'm not finding Fuzion to be a dust magnet, at least not anymore than anything else I've used over the years. It's nice and slick after a bubble bath today, as a stand alone product.

I decided to dry the car without OID today to see how the wax performs without a QD for the next week or two. We'll see.

When you said that Fuzion was a dust magnet, to what are you comparing? Maybe me living in SoCal with low humity and garaging the car isn't a good reference?

Cheers!

UPGP is my favorite wax used to date...simple appliance and really keeps the dust away. It's a weird feeling not having to buff a LSP off, though.
