looking for stuff that will be easy to work with and will bring the best in my paint work

my car is a astra vxr in arden blue

Pinnacle Souveran™ for your wax, Great stuff easy to use. As far as polishes, the majority here like Megs products, I like the Menzerna line.

Since you're in the UK take advantage of the Autoglym products such as HD wax, Super Resin Polish, and Extra Gloss Protection. These are some really good products that we have just recently been starting to get over here in the states. Also if your not already a member check out DetailingWorld. If you're working by hand, and you want to remove swirls, not just mask them then go with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to remove and SwirlX to polish to a high gloss and then use a wax or paint sealant of your choice.

I highly recommend Optimum Car Wax. It won't stain your trim, it's wipe in wipe off, it's pretty cheap, and it leaves your paint super slick with a deep shine. I never even considered it as a "real" LSP until I tried it and it really is great.

I heard the Super Resin Polish is like a glaze. SO you'd still need to wax/seal after it correct?

Also, I was thinking of using Super Resin Polish then KAIO and then some sort of wax maybe DP Max Wax or PB Natty Blue (my car is black btw) what do you guys think

sorry for thread jack x] I'm also a noobie so maybe the OP can learn from this ha

SRP is a light cleaner glaze/polish with filling properties. It also has a sealant so it is quite durable by itself but many people either top it with EGP or HD wax or EGP+HD wax or even Autobalm BH for maximum filling capabilities. KAIO is like a similar product but does no filling.

I would use either SRP or KAIO and not both as they are so similar to each other.

In case you didnt know, fillers are a good thing in sealants and waxes just not polishes.

I see, I was told that SRP isn't durable by itself and washes off after a couple of washes.

I could still put a wax over SRP or KAIO correct?
