As of late I have had a couple of customers that have had some serious stains on their carpet. I have used different ratios of APC+, amazing roll off, and a general spot carpet cleaner with HEAVY SCRUBBING. None of these options have worked that great, but APC+ has been the best.

I have had particular troubles removing black (maybe grease or oil) stains on carpet lately. I also use a Mytee extractor on all applications but nothing is working very good my arms are getting tired of scrubbing somebody please help........

The best stain removers I have used are Majestic Solutions Extraction Plus and Zep High Traffic Lane cleaner. Folex is decent too. It might be your technique. I would liberally spray the spot and let it dwell for like 10 minutes. Scrub the spot with a firm brush. Blot it with a white terry towel and then extract. That should do it. Otherwise, it might not come out. Some spots can be improved but not completely removed. Good luck.

If its grease or oil I kid you not but use brake clean. When I was an auto tech that's what we used when we screwed up and got grease or oil on the carpet. Never once did is cause neg effects.

That's good to know...thanks.

Any parts store carries cans of brake cleaner on the shelf. I have used all kinds of different brands. Just look for a spray can that says brake parts cleaner on it and grab the cheapest one. It doesn't take much so don't go soaking the carpet with it ;)

A solvent like Goof Off should work on tar/grease stains in the carpet as well...be sure to try it in a discrete area first though.
