I thought it would be cool for people to have a thread for requesting a product review, so, what AG product do you want to see reviewed?

I would really like a LC Crimson HT pad review, preferably with a finishing polish on a dark colored vehicle. Since those pads are not yet for sale, one of the lucky few who got one from DF5 would have to do it.

Corey... did you get a Crimson HT? :poke: :D

I'm trying to use them with 85RD on my car. The weather has not been cooperating the last couple weekends.
 
Are these pads for sale yet? I saw the thread Mike posted but I have never seen them mentioned since. I would love to buy one and try them out.

I think the thread is a terrific idea!

Yes, I do have a Crimson HT and I would be honored to do a review on it. I'll plan on doing a review within the month. I'll try for between 1 and 7 days but I might not get to it that quick. I have a black car in mind I'd like to do it on but if I can't get hold of that car I'll use one of mine.

I can not think of any better person to provide us with a review then Corey! His reviews are bar none the best! He is the "Review Master" :props:

Hopefully someone will volunteer that has more DG products then I do. I only have Aquawax which has been spoken about alot and probably reviewed already. Still, I'd be happy to do it if you want.

No problem, I consider it a compliment and can't wait to do it. I am thinking about how I'll compare it and what products to run the test with. Eric from LC said it has good correction power for a finishing pad as well. On the finishing ability I believe his words were "I think you will be impressed". So I will try to do a review that will test both of these claims as well.

I would be interested in a comparison of Spray Waxes. OCW,4 Star, Pinnacle & DG AW all come to mind. A WOWA sealant comparison also comes to mind. I think all of these products are verry good from what I believe all are probably very good, so I think a comparative review would be interesting. Just my $.02 FWIW!
 
I just used the LC Crimson HT pads with Dodo lime prime on my infiniti. I must say I do like them better than the CCS grey. The product doesn't absorb into the pads as much, and works a little longer. Sorry that there is no pictures!! My baby is sick and I had to rush through it or my wife was going to shoot me.LOL

I saw them for sale on another site. I don't know why AG hasn't got them i stock yet.
 
I think a good old reliability study of sealants would interesting. I know they have been done before but it would be great to add the new Menzerna sealant to the tests.

I have a few DG products, but I was curious as to what you wanted to see? Here is a small list of what I have...

901 - car wash soap
601 - bonding agent
105 - total performance polish
261 - tire gloss
371 - absorb it

Most of these have been discussed at length here... Which is why I asked.

I can probably do this comparison. What kind of comparison would you like to see? Looks, water beading, durability, etc.? I have Optimum Car Wax, Duragloss Aqua Wax, Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax, Pinnacle Souveran Liquid spray wax, and WG Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant.

Can do. I have the new Power Lock, as well as Four Star UPP, DP Poli-Coat, Meguiar's M21, WG DGPS, and Opti-Seal. I can also throw Meguiar's M16 and Collinite 845 into the equation. Which ones would you like to see compared?

can you apply any of those spray waxes on when the car is damp or wet after washing?
 
Ciera ... do a search, I know back a year or so ago we did several Duragloss reviews. I remember doing 101 ??? Someone else did TPP ??? I think ZaneO also did one on Fast/Clean Spray which I actually preferred over Aquawax. (Surfers favorite)

They can be used in this way but you won't get as much protection. Depending on what function you expect out of your spray wax use accordingly. I think most people reading this are using it as a bosster in which case it should work fine (Not that I have used every spray wax listed). Old Tiger used the word "damp" which I think is key. If you're car is still wet you're likely wasting product with a lot of these but if just "damp" as in you have blown off or in some other way removed the majority of the water then you're in good shape. The effect that water has on the spray wax will vary from one to the other.
