Best OTC clay

Clay Magic as others have stated. A few months ago Auto Zone had a big clearance and they had their turtle wax ice stuff discounted to .99. I picked up some clay kits of theres that came with a liquid clay stuff (haven't used), bottle of clay lube and nice sized clay bar. Surprisingly the clay is really nice.

I'm not a fan of the Mother's because it's too soft. Nice and easy to reshape but it falls apart in my hand.

:iagree: I have a bunch of the TW clay bars from the clearance also and they are pretty nice.

I like the fact of it being a softer clay because I can feel more of what is going on. As mentioned, what works for one person may not work for another. I have had zero issues with Mothers clay using both Showtime and Meg's QD (red bottle). I have had some streaking action with Meg's, which really shows on black. I actually use an entire bottle of clay lube or qd when claying a full car so I don't think it's from a lack of lube.

I haven't tried Clay Magic yet because Mothers just works for me.

Is Griot's Clay good or bad ? I guess I'll soon find out. Since there aren't too many Free Shipping to Canada deals, it was a matter of economics for me, due to the fluctuating Canadian Dollar.
