Hello. What products and methods would all of you recommend for cleaning all the road tar oil and other grime like road salt from the under side of a vehicle???

I try to keep the road tar & oil ON my undercarriage to keep it from rusting/rotting.
in fact, in the past year I've been spraying the undercarriage of my truck with motorcycle chain lube spray. It's the stickiest stuff on earth, so I sprayed all the vulnerable areas in hopes I can delay the inevitable.

Funny you should ask this. Earlier today I spent a couple hours using Meguiar's APC and a brush scrubbing my undercarraige.

I really want a lift. It would make it so much easier.

Lately I've been cleaning under carriages with ARO, then shooting them with spray on (rattle can) rubberized under coating...Makes them look very nice. Then just maintain with ARO as needed...

The lift sure comes in handy.

What happens after the exhaust heats up? Does it smoke a lot or drip or anything?

Nope...No smoke, drips, or any side effects. I did this one a couple of months ago, and it still looks great!
