Who wants to review Poorboy's SYN 1?

He said it's mainly for rotary / Flex users, but may also be able to work by hand or DA. The testing is not limited to any form of user in particular; we need to know how it works by any given method. :)

yes, it is recommended to be used by rotary or a Flex, but we need people to try it with PC's and by hand too :xyxthumbs: can never get enough feedback :)

Well I have a nice black H2 and a Black M3 coming up so I think they will be perfect test cars. Is it suppose to finish nicer then M105?
 
would like to try it with PC. i have M105 to compare it to as well.
 
i can try it with both xp and makita. i'll show side by side comparison. :)
 
Well per pockets request I tested it out with a PCXP and found that I only got ~ 4passes to drying moving slow with a lot of pressure and withing 2-3 passes it looked like it was starting to flash. I got buffer trials noticable with Syn1 + org CCS pads and syn1 + white CCS pads... both cleared with Pro polish + white CCS x 3 -4 passes.

Work time seem almost to short to remove defects with PC without 3 -4 applicaitons or maybe i need to bare down A LOT harder with first pass or 2. I felt like i might have been dry buffing. Dusting when i ran over a little tape on the edge was heavy.

It would be very nice to see the work time increased and the dusting reduced.

I Primed the pads with product and used 3 pea sized drops for each section... pockets let me know if this is to thin or to much product pls

For giggles I threw it on Foamed wool on my rotary... think i did more marring then correcting... but I am a total retard with the rotary... followed with white CCS and more syn 1.. then PC with white CCS and pro polish to finish out.

I tried taking pics and have a couple of the marring after org pads with clean up on white but the rest did not turn out well.

I can say my moderately swirled toyota tacoma door in black metallic was 80% clear of swirls on the first application... but the rids seemed to hang around through 2 -3 applications of syn1 on org and white.. I can still see them although they are greatly reduced... I think wool + rotary would have been a good starting point but again.. i am an idiot with the rotary atm :)

Nice write up Chris :xyxthumbs:

I would use more product three pea size drops may be your reason for less working time. I do a quick ring of product on the pad give that a shot.
