With the additional space added to our warehouse, along with adding many new products this year (with more to come!) Max came up with a way to increase our efficiency in pulling orders. Your orders get packed and shipped faster than ever before and we are having more fun too!

Introducing Order Pullers on Wheels at Autogeek!

That's pretty gnarly :D

The framework of that shelfing system is...was pretty thin, although the buffoon shouldn't have been on that forklift.

Actually its pretty heavy duty stuff, the problem is its no match to the weight of a forklift. Those little scoots Max bought wouldn't have near the weight or power to cause a problem like that.

gotta be the coolest place to work and Max has got to be a great guy to work for

Max is cool and we do love working for him, but things like this he does to improve the speed of your order leaving your warehouse!

Tell me you have iPads on the clipboards on those mobile thingies "D

Talk about a great INCENTIVE to work! How many people do you know can say "I get to ride around on a scooter all day picking orders"! You guys deserve it, I know it can be a daunting task of walking up and down 100's of yards of a warehouse to pull for an order. Awesome stuff there!

You guy's just have way too much fun to call that work.

Pretty Cool.

Max rocks! It's great to see the inner workings and improved effiiciency that goes on behind the scenes!

It apparently was not heavy enough to support all the weight that was on it when the forklift bumped into the corner. I have seen, and used much, much heavier racks than these.

Go to .20 in the vid, and closely watch the second rack just buckle. The cross section pieces are thin and flimsy. The X braces are thin, but that doesn't really matter as the rest of it was inadequate for a bump induced chain reaction. Even the main supports are not very thick at all. You can see the cross section pieces, and even the main support pieces just swaying during/after the collapse.

Like I said, the buffoon shouldn't have ever been on that forklift. That rack was not designed to be bumped, nudged ect., but it is/was very, very thin and flimsy. The buffoon shouldn't have bumped it, but nonetheless, it was very thin and flimsy.

What do you think will happen to an overloaded rack like that during a large earthquake? I would go as far as to say that, that particular rack system was over loaded for it's capacity. The X braces did what they are supposed to do, but that's irrelevant due to the fact that the rest of it simply bent and collapsed.
