What is good for black paint in everyday driving? Waxs and swirl removing?

Patience. I have a black dd and it's really tough. I always get teased about washing and the constant care. Personally I'm a Menzerna fan, with a Pinnacle lsp.

Someone said maintaining a black car is almost a full time job, rather than a hobby... believe me IT'S TRUE

For my black DD, I personally love WAX!!! But it's good to have a Sealant under... depends on how much time you invest in detailing. good luck!

So true when I met my wife she had a black car. Not a great color for a daily driver. Some tips I would recommend:

(1) two-bucket method while washing
(2) sealant layered with wax

I would also consider using a glaze to cover up some of the swirls in between polishes.

All of the above plus (3) touch it as little as possible unless your washing it. (basically resist qding unless while washing)

That reminds me one thing I do which I find helps a lot to keep down marring is to use some QD while drying. I flood my paint with water and after the rinse I spray each panel with QD before drying. Since I use FK425 it leaves a nice and slick finish.
