Thinking of purchasing the Metro Vac and Blo as a gift to myself for my birthday. Need some feedback on performance
 
I would like to know as well..I have heard that the 4.0HP can be too little to vacuum or blow off a cars water efficiently...but everyone hears things.
 
I used several at the last couple DetailFest and was impressed with the units. I do prefer the bigger one.

The 4HP unit has over 90-in of water lift which is more than many shop vacs. For example, the Ridgid models (like WD1250) has 45 to 55 -in of lift so as a vac the Metro should be great.

Fo whole car drying, I have no idea. I really liked the 8 HP master blaster to dry.
