I received my BOGO SSII the other day and I finally had a chance to try it out yesterday. I just did a simple, 2 step process of pre-wax cleaner and wax. I absolutely loved this wax- it went on and off like butter and was a complete dream to apply. I have read a lot of reviews saying it's best for light metallics, but it looks fantastic on my flat black. The paint looks very wet; I am looking forward to applying it on my black metallic sometime this week. I'll keep you guys updated with pictures once I do the car. I have obviously not tested for durability, but so far I give it a 10/10 for application and removal.

Cheers :buffing:

durability for me is like 2 to 3 weeks. notlong . but thats ok i love useing this wax . its great and up there with highend waxes for sure

I'm a fan of SSII. I have 3 jars of it now thanks to BOGO :xyxthumbs:

Tom, have you tried layering yet? I usually get 3-4 weeks on average from just one layer. I've been bouncing back and forth between SSII and Fuzion, but now that I have 3 jars I can stick with SSII.

All the waxes in the Pinnacle line are easy to apply and remove and create show car results. The Signature Series II and the Souveran Paste are both wipe on, wipe off waxes and the liquid Souveran is allowed to dry to a haze before removal.

Here's a how-to article for working by hand using Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax

How to clay, clean and wax paint by hand with Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion and Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax

I also got the BOGOs! Received them yesterday. Looking forward to trying them very soon.

Rwright, did you get foam applicators with your SSIIs? Mine didn't come with applicators, and I thought they did.

BTW, i wasn't able to get the MaxWax on BOGO last time, luckily SSII went on BOGO as I wanted to try these more.

These durability times are surprising to me.........how does the durability compare with DP Max Wax?

I find 4-6 weeks in South Florida. I do only use the Pinnacle soaps when using Pinnacle Waxes and it seems to help from stripping it off as quickly as some others. Souveran Spray Wax is also a great booster between wax sessions.

edit: will post pics later, have to figure out how to integrate them without putting in attachments.

seeing these pics ijust might have to put a layer of this wax on my truck soon:xyxthumbs:

I like SSII I just wish it lasted longer, I use it purely for looks as a topper and for the little extra wow factor

What's the difference between SSII and Souveran paste? I have the Souveran and love it... I always wondered why SSII was priced lower. Is it the longevity? But same shine/gloss/wet look?

funny, on AG website it say 2-3 month of durability for SSII

I love SS II - looking forward to using it again.

This was from about 2 months ago:

Process:
Tires and fender wells with Meguiar's APC+
Wash with Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo (sample), 2BM, lambswool mitt
Flood car, dry with Cobra Guzzler
Wax with Pinnacle Signature Series II
Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax on exterior glass
Pinnacle Black Onyx tire gel (sample) on tires

Just to note, I applied the wax over a couple weeks old application of Meguiar's #21 Synthetic Sealant. Now for some pics. Just some afters.

Okay, figured it at all out. First of all, my intention was to edit my post on page 1 and add all my pictures there, but I guess that after X amount of time my ability to edit is not available. I'm adding pictures of my mom's 2009 Accord and my girlfriend's Civic.

Right, well - I really enjoyed this process today.

The paint was in okay condition, I didn't polish as I didn't have the time, but same process was used (Black Hole followed by SSII). Again, no before pictures, but this time because it was already very clean and time was of the essence yet again. I really wanted to use a pre wax cleaner on this as there was still signs of debris in the paint even after claying (any suggestions on a good pre wax cleaner?). The Black Hole I applied with my new GG RO via black LC pad on speed 2/3.

I'm really sorry for my crappy quality pictures as they are merely taken via phone's camera. The cars look 100% better in person!

Hope you enjoyed my pictures :)

well thanks for the info, I guess I wills tick with souveran and max wax who last 2 months.

Someone have any input on the above?

souveran leaves the paint darker nice and glossy..
sig series leaves the paint wetter and shiny.. both are great .. but different. and for me i only get a couple weeks maybe 3 out of them .. but we have harsh weather i quess by us..lota crap flying in the air ....
