Name Suggestions and Logo Opinions?

Honestly...I think you're really over thinking this. Read the articles Mike posted. No offense, but the name doesn't make the business....you do!

I don't like it...HorsePower doesn't flow well off the tounge. It sounds kind of like you just stuck a word in front of Auto Detail. It's choppy and kind of off-putting.

You said you're in Texas, right?

How about something like Outlaw Auto Detail? :)

Me too, and I can see some awesome logo's too; with Outlaws on them shooting Foam Cannons! :laughing:

Just think, some guy will walk outside and be like "Oh my car? The guys over at Outlaw took care of it ;)"

I liked White Glove, simple logo possibilities too. Outlaw seems like a good one too. Like others said, ultimately it's your work that will make you, not the name. If it were my business, I'd call it "I learned to detail at Autogeek.net Detailing". LOL J/K

That was actually one of my first ideas along with "Texas Ranger Auto Detail" but the possibilities of a lawsuit by the DPS made me grow weary, but am I wrong? As far as Lone Star goes, unfortunately there is a car wash called "Lone Star Car Wash" in our market area and they have a bad rap. There are many complaints and bad reviews and I don't want to be associated or confused with them.
 
Just one question. When registering my domain, should I go for "OutlawAutoDetail.com", "OutlawAutoDetailing.com", "OutlawDetail.com" or "OutlawDetailing.com"
 
I would actually register both OutlawAutoDetailing and OutlawDetailing to prevent a possible competitor from taking the name...but that's just me.

you honestly think people without disposable income set money aside to have their car detailed? why limit yourself to a certain group of people...why not cater to everyone, the types of people that you are trying to reach are automatically included if they pay to have their vehicle cleaned
 
As someone else mentioned... in the end, you make the business go... not the name...

I like Outlaw Auto Detailing because it works for Texas. There's a connection with the word that plants and image or anchor in a person's mind and this makes it memorable in my opinion...

It's also easy to spell, write or type... you can probably come up with some kind of graphic to go with the name, think about branding. Cartoon characters are memorable and can work for some businesses, maybe think about that idea?

How about an outlaw looking character like Yosemite Sam? Instead of guns he's got two bottles of spray detailers?

Now match up top quality work and service and get referrals...
