I recently PC polished my windshield and the other car's back glass with Menzerna polishes and although they came out good I'm noticing that the water doesn't clear off like it used to. It sort of just sits on the glass now. Hopefully this is fixable with the Poly Shield. Has anyone used this and what can you tell me about it? Experiences, tips, longevity, etc.

I think after polishing there's some residual film remaining and needs to be cleaned.

Try this:

  • Clean the windshield throughly with IPA.
  • Clay entire surface
  • Wash with Stoners Invisible Glass and Microfiber glass towels

That is a perfect recipe

IMO nothing beats Aquapel after you do what Bobby G. said to do

I did do the IPA and and stoners but I didn't clay in between. I'll give it a shot, thanks.

Old Tiger, can I assume you tried the polyshield too?

Also can anyone tell me how long this PS is supposed to last? (Aquapel too.)

Aquapel is amazing.

I just recently ordered it for the first time and I am really happy with the results. Not much rain in Southern California, but it sure makes it easy for the windshield washer to wash off the dirt from our filthy freeways.
