WOW, is all I can say. I applied UPGP over the weekend on two family cars and what a great product! It was so smooth to apply and what a slick feeling afterwards. It was wipe on and literally walk away. The next day it felt smooth as glass. I though it was just me but I had family members feel the surface and they commented how slippery it felt and wet it look. Unfortunately the next day it poured but I believe it was more than 14 hours had passed (cured). So far I did the 2 large SUV's ( Honda Pilot and Lincoln MKZ) and I used about 1/4 of the 4oz. bottle. It took meabout 15 minutes each but it was easier on the 2nd SUV. I was skeptical about the hype of this product but after using it, there is no argument. UPGP lives up to it's reputation...:xyxthumbs:

Welcome to the club. Not us-->:buffing: Us-->:cruisin:

LOL yes it is a very good product. Only downside is you use so little it looks like you will never finish the bottle..

Welcome the the world of Ultima. It is awesome, Glad you love it!

It is a great product but is so easy I feel like Im cheating!

Glad you like it. I too am a convert. However, you claim you have used 1/4 of the bottle on TWO suv's? IMO, you are using too much. I'm surprised you didn't have any streaking problems. Be sure to use 1 spritz per panel at the most, after initially priming the applicator pad with 2 spritzes. I have done 2 minivans worth, and the bottle still looks unused.

I didn't notice that when I read it. Definitely too much product.

I too am sold on the product. It puts Optima's version to shame in both ease of use and looks. I agree that too much product was used but now you'll know for next time.

This just amazes me, less than 1oz will do 2 minivans. I would look at a 4oz bottle and think it wouldn't be enough to do 1 minivan. I've read about a lot of products that say use thin thin thin, something I'm going to have to really work at. In the past with anything I've always thought more is better. I still have a lot to learn.

You can say that again. I have and used Opti-seal. I wasn't too impressed by it. It was dull (bland) looking even after curing, and durability was not that good. I believe it was gone after a couple washes. Because of my experience with Opti-seal, I was skeptical on UPGP, but glad I took the plunge. UPGP is out of this world. I will be using this as a base for my nubas more often. Some days I still prefer the liquid sealants... I like variation.

I'm still learning, but because of this forum and because of UPGP, I have learned to get better at it. My first use of UPGP I streaked like mad. I just had that urge to keep spritzing.... gotta fight it. 1 spritz per 1-1/2 panels is what I averaged. Keep spreading it around and around... a little goes a looooooooooooooooong way.

Thanks for the advice all. I'll definitely use less next time around.

I also like UPGP much better than the Optima as a total user experience.

I tried it on the silver merc w203 just about two weeks ago, it was easy to apply and also leave a nice glossy shine. But still have a full bottle of opti-seal... :(

Lots of places to use it. I use it on the inside of glass showers and on the brightwork and numerous places around the home that tend to accumulate crud over time. Makes cleanup a breeze.

Sounds like I'm gonna have to give UPGP a try. I was pleased with Opti Seal but the comparisons appear to be universal in favor of UPGP. Similar raves about UTTGP, I tried that and was blown away. Maybe I just oughta order 1 of everything in the Ultima line. :xyxthumbs:
