im a new member. this is my first "real" detail. It is a 02 dodge dakota, the guy wanted a wash and wax and i told him it would not look and appear black unless i introduced it to some compound. He agreed that was what he really wanted but low budget. i started with a 2 bucket system, wheels were a combo of megs all wheel and a solution of purple power and water. then i clayed the whole truck and used ssr3 and then ssr1 so the swirls weren't so bad and topped with natty's blue.

any and all feedback is appreciated

I will let you know tomarrow, he is picking it up tonight.

Looks like someone else that doesn't take care of their truck, looks a whole lot better now!! :xyxthumbs:

The truck looks good. Were you using a rotary or a DA? I am curious as to how well the SSR1 did at cleaning up after the SSR3 as that seems like an awful big jump in SSRs.

i used the DA, the ssr1 took for ever to break down, but it literally gave the truck a darker shade of black. still left swirls though.(very light) and btw the guy loved it and couldn't beleive his truck could look like that.

Who owns the Roush Mustang in the background? The truck looks great.

Those Roush Mustangs are pretty cool vehicles. He is a lucky guy. I have a 2003 Mustang Cobra. Are you going to be detailing the Roush?
