am i any better off with one of these or another?
with my budget i need just one!
i used to use both in some detailing jobs, and the results were spectacular and lasting results far beyond what i expected!

A sealant will last longer than a wax.

In general, sealants usually are more durable, while waxes usually look better.

You could get the best of both worlds and get a hybrid.

Apply sealant then wax for the best results.

The New DP Poli-Coat is Great stuff and if you order before the BOGO Changes you can get it for 10 bucks a bottle and that's like stealing from Max, looks great and is very durable, easy on easy off!
Another great deal on the DP BOGO is MaxWax for $35 for two tubs, looks great and lasts very well for a Nuba Wax, and is a hidden Gem!:xyxthumbs:

Maybe warmer looking, but not necessarily better. Some like a bright reflective shine from a sealant.

I was generalising, so I didn't elaborate. IMO, waxes usually look better by adding more warmth and depth.

Better for others may be the reflectivity from sealants.

Beauty (looking better) is in the eye of the beholder.

For the original poster, here is another article that might help you decide between carnauba waxes and paint sealants.

Carnauba Car Wax vs. Paint Sealants

And as others have stated, there are hybrids.

Only you can decide what is better for you, whether that be ease of use, durability, looks, price, etc...

Yea! it really looks good! Brings 'jetting' effect of a carnauba wax and bonds better!

btw I had a doubt regarding that!

If I use a sealant which leaves a super slick finish such as BFWD or rejex, will carnauba wax be able to stick to it??

Yup, Liquid Souveran is considered a finishing hybrid. Souveran paste is a finishing carnauba
