DP Wheel Glaze

WOW is all i have to say about this product.

I dont have pics, but i did the OEM 17" rims on my 01 Mustang GT with DP Wheel Glaze.

First off, it smells like fresh grape kool aid, which is nice.

Second, it goes on very easy, like the DP MaxWax. A little bit goes a long way.

Third, it barely dusts at all, for those who have gotten a lot of dust, rub it on very thin.

Fourth, Very easy to remove when laid on thin.

Fifth, VERY shiny when its on. I thought they were shiny before, NO WAY!! this gave it a shine that i had yet to see.

I was using Armor-All wheel protectant, which did a good job protecting, but didnt add any shine, and its very expensive. I didnt make a since budge in the DP Wheel Glaze and did the mustang rims. i can easily get 20-30 sets of wheels out of 1 tub. if not double that.

i like it too. first time i put it on too thick and waited a little too long. know better now. another great dp product. since my initials are d p i consider this a proprietory brand. ha ha

no pics, mustang was put away. But, after we drive it, ill let the wheels get really bad and then ill do some pics and review of how good it protects.

I gave it a try this past weekend and have to agree with the conclusions above. where I did apply it to think did create a decent amount of dust however where applied properly did not.

Yeah I just tried this stuff this weekend after ordering it on BOGO. Cleaned the wheels with DP Cleanse All, agitated, then went to apply the Wheel Glaze. I learned the hard way to apply it super thin, but once I learned that I was able to fly and have my wheels cleaned and glazed in less than 30 minutes. And my wheels are 9 spoke.

I just used this today. I thought i had applied it thin, but I guess not thin enough. It was extremely hard to remove. I even did one wheel at a time because I remember my prior experience being very hard to remove. When buffing off, it left a lot of dust. It was just too much work.

thinner. trust me, you only need enough on your pad the size of an apple seed, and itll do damn near half the rim.

I put this stiff on my car last weekend and I got some on my brake calipers. Any suggestions on getting it off? Also will DP Wheel Cleaner take off the glaze?

no joke. i use the foam applicator pad and barely touch the surface of the Glaze, then rub it on the wheel. only have to touch the Glaze 2-3 times like that to do one rim. these are 17" rims.

I would think any wheel cleaner should remove it.

Apple seed seems extreme to me. I use very little but its a lot more then an apple seed. Hey if you can get it done with that amount rops: to you!

Always nice to know that something works well. I planned to buy a DP wheel kit last December but it was on backorder for weeks. Ended up with another Wheel Sealant that seems to work well, but it's not perfect. I'll put DP wheel glaze on my list to someday try. Thanks!

I love it! As far as ease of use PB couldn't be any easier. I'm not sure which one protects longer or better as I haven't tested for that but the protection from the PB seems to be great.

It does seem that the DP leaves the rims looking a bit shinier. But that may be a figment of my imagination due to the effort I put in when using DP.
